So Haruto found her :3 Lol @ the wind, oh Eba. So typical. Well at least they are reunited and talking again (in flashback) so... The bike scene is kinda nostalgic since I do read the manga. Nanami also really reminds me of Suzuka. |

| This episode covers the first five chapters of the manga. It is a flashback, but they covered that part of the story well. I have no idea how they plan to fit the whole story in... I expect they will skip chapters that don't have to do with the main relationships, but that isn't a whole heck of a lot. I have to wait for the subs to know for sure, but it seems to be pretty faithful to the manga. The resolution on the raw I watched was crap, but the art looked really interesting. Kind of watercolor like. I expect that is a "memory" thing, but I'll have to wait for a full res version to know for sure. They did a good job of making the younger Haruto look younger... |

| I'm probably in the minority here but I actually liked the OVA art and just watching how Gonzo is animating the TV series makes me appreciate the OVA art more. While I like how the TV series character designs are closer to the manga, the background art is just WTF. Also, so many facial close-ups, I want to jokingly say its to save them from doing background animation, but that just might be the case. As for the episode itself, I liked it. It was nice to see bits of the Hiroshima story and I always liked Nanami so it was nice to see her. Her seiyuu sounded different from the OVA though.... |
| I'm surprised Akari's voice is different from the OVA. I give props to the seiyuu who changed it up. I have no idea what they plan on doing so far, but at least they finally introduce Nanami. The art used look really good in some places as zensunni said, it had a watercolor feel to it. I actually don't mind it, it really goes well with it. Well anyway nice job on animating the first 5 chapters. I enjoyed this episode a lot more then the first episode. |

| Maybe I watched KNIM at the wrong time last week, the art style didn't bother me nearly as much this time. Save for the placement of those watercolor shots Also not the first choice I would've gone for Akari for her seiyuu |

| Doki has it subbed, you can find it through them. I think this is [anime] pretty useless for non manga readers. There were so many little details that were skipped that made the episode seem confusing. |

| My goodness, the VA for Akari butchered her character for me... >.< Also, I hate the cutscenes with just picture in watercolor... they are cutting animation. Lastly, when Kanzaki told Kirishima that Yuzuki got dizzy in the bath, there is no sync in the mouth-voice action. And it seems they wont cover the start of the manga, they are covering the school festival of Eba's school. They only covered a few parts of the first chapters of the manga in this episode. |

| Kinda boring! Art changes at random moments. Voices are off from what i expected, should have stayed with the voice actors from the Ova. I don't know if its just me but there are just so many this off in this episode. The voices just doesn't meet up with the characters. I thought Rin would be more interesting, but she couldn't meet up with her kind of speech, this also goes for the other supporting characters. |

| Voices are fine to me. I like the watercolor panels. We already knew this show wasn't starting from the origin. Doing a decent job at setting the foundation. Things should start to roll here now. Enjoyable so far. Anticipation for the emotional boom. Hope Doki can keep to a relative quick turn around time since it's the only reliable subs we got! |

| Well the first episode was kind of good, but I really didn't like this episode. The characters really could not get any more stereotypical, it now pains me to watch it. Hopefully once the background story is done I can enjoy it again. I still liked the OSTs, OP, and ED, though. |

| Akari's voice totally doesn't suit her ughasufhaugd. Then again she probably won't make many appearances in this anime anyway considering it's the Tokyo arc. Still don't think Haruto's voice suits him but I'm getting used to it. I'm glad they did a flashback ep, it was great to see the first parts of the manga. I shouldn't expect too much tbh because Gonzo is really ruining what I thought would be a good anime adaptation. (I don't mean I expected Gonzo to make something amazing with KNIM, but I just wish some other studio picked it up |:) |

I kinda liked the artstyle of the OVA too , even thought this one is more similiar to the manga :c I mean , OMG , Akari's voice -.- Yeah , she's kinda of a tomboy but I really expected a more girly and cheerful voice.. | Judging by the preview of the next episode, they already go to the school festival part? wow. Anyone else loved the second episode more than the first? This is where it should have started, plus the animation was superb on this episode, even though they did let some things out from some scenes, like how Takashi ended up following Yuzuki and Haruto on the store. Loved this episode. |

| I see what the director is doing here and I appreciate his approach. He set up the move to Tokyo, then went back to the beginning to present the story in a way that highlights the reasons why Haruto isn't just a creepy stalker for moving to Tokyo chasing after a girl that broke up with him. It will highlight the fact that Yuzuki's personality is such that she puts other people's feelings ahead of her own, leading to Haruto's concern that she is in some type of trouble that she doesn't want to cause him hardship, so she broke off their relationship. Just like when she first moved to Hiroshima and clearly had feelings for Haruto, even though The previews certainly seem to show the Cultural Festival arc. I hope they at least cover his The animation is still a bit spotty. There were some really well done scenes, but lots of off model moments and the scene where Nanami finds Yuzuki passed out in the bath was really weird and jerky. I really liked the "watercolor" feel to the art work, giving it a very surreal and dreamlike quality. Zapredon said: So, will it be better if I read the manga or is this flash back good enough? | Nice episode, but in my opinion too short. There were moments where the animations were really good but also moments where the quality wasn't really good. Sometimes the characters' faces looked really stranged or didn't changed which didn't always fit. I hope the next episode will last more than just 20 minutes. |

| I'm glad they went into things from their past in more detail. I'm slowly getting used to the art style... and I really enjoyed that fan scene too! I do that so much, haha. One thing that kinda bothered me was that part at the end where Nanami freaks out... it was just bad voice acting. Tbh, I hardly ever feel like that about anime but really, there was a lot of room for improvement there. Overall, not a bad episode. I think I'll be listening to that ED a lot this week. ^^ |

| I'm thankful for the flashbacks. I like the refreshing memories they had since he met her. Eba is cool. I like her because I am Eba. LOL I'm the type of person to push my crush with his crush and not consider my own feelings. The art style is starting to grow on me. |

| Well , it's interesting to see that they are actaully adaptating some of the earlier chapters as flashbacks , that way people who didn't read the manga will understand better. The art is a little annoying but it's ok i guess. However this brings so much memories back from the manga. I hope Gonzo won't mess this up. |
| I'm having a hard time determining what is flashback and what isn't since I haven't read the manga. The story looks very appealing to me because of the romance drama so I'm going to start the manga hopefully later today. I know they did not start from chapter 1. The VAs for this show aren't very good. I usually don't mind to a certain extent but the scenes especially at the end were rather bad. I want to catch up in the manga so I have a better idea of what's going on and if this anime adaptation is doing it justice. |
