Watching anime is pretty much something I have enjoyed doing for over 2 decades now. If I trace it back, my fascination probably started back late 1980s or early 1990s when I was like 4 or 5 years old with shows like Voltes V, Voltron, Transformers, Shaider, Maskman, Bioman, as well as cartoons like Ghostbuster, Denver, Care Bears and GI Joe. As years pass, I eventually learn to differentiate the difference of that of the Japanese and the American animations by simple looking at the intro and ending songs which features a kind of symbols/characters different from the English Alphabet that I'm so familiar with and say "Oh! It's Japanese," and later discovered how the Japanese animations (The term anime is not yet in existence at those times) has intricate story details that I found lacking on shows that I see as American made, hence I started getting really hooked to them.
Other anime related stuff I'm interested into: listening to anime sound tracks and VOCALOID related music, reading manga, blogs, and articles, attending conventions, and collecting figures and Gunpla kits.

My Figma collections
Coming Early 2013
Ultimate Madoka 1/8 Statue, can't wait to have this
My anime list is a collection of almost all the anime I have ever watched, so it includes anime way back when I was still a child. The most recent shows that I have watched are listed fairly accurately, it's not quite for the shows I have watched in the past - by which a fair amount is on the "Dropped List" mostly due to broadcast cancellation or discontinuation by local channels, and or the show's broadcast time conflicting with my school schedule. As for the old shows I have already forgotten, I immediately add those to my list as soon as I remember them or have encounter them somewhere here on MAL.
My manga list still needs a lot of workings and are very inaccurate at the moment, example is "Naruto" I didn't really read the manga chapters before the 4-year time skip. Also I haven't yet added majority of the manga(s) I ever read (mostly H-manga anyways).
MS Unicorn definitely is the best of the best out of the gundam franchise for me
and episode 6 was like one of the best gundam episode ever. its presentation and battle of ideology is done perfectly like no other series could ever done
Happy New Year! Musta na? UAE ka pa rin? Matagal tagal rin akong di nakakapag-usap sa mga tao dito sa MAL eh. Oo nga, ganda ng Nekomono, ala-Bakemono din, celebrate the new year with a bang nga daw. Hahaha.
my comments to Jacut, stalk my wall for his comment
agree. it really set the so called overall take on "plot" the series would have
actually, reading your comments about Psycho-pass uplifts me in a way, i've been an idiot this past few days doubting my personal preferences and taste, well i've been reading a lot of forum threads and its basically shaking me, and a lot of ramblings are contradictory to myself (i'm an indecisive guy and a lot of guys certainly are influencing me as to whether i truly like this show or not)
so yeah, i'm come to a resolution that i really love this show, despite me over analyzing every little thing a bit, certainly there ain't a perfect masterpiece and psycho-pass is prone to numerous elite-proclaimed critics but still is a awesome show amongst the rest, whether they like it or not
how come i could forget that awesome feeling that "this is it" when i've watched the first 3 episodes
i'm a so called idealist in views with anime now because how much the industry regressed with the quality of its shows and i really see Psycho-pass as a sign of redemption, too bad i just am stupid for contradicting those thoughts myself
anyway, i have found one of my new years resolution, ep.11 really helped me, and a lot with, special thanks to Makishima of course (he really reminds me of Nolan's Batman Trilogy's Joker, surely you did so to :D)
oh, and Zetsuen ain't a pushover either, another amazing show from this season
i just feel the need to express my disappointment and realization to myself to those people i think would understand
rewatched Shinsekai yori from the start. reached ep.11.
and here i come to a realization this S-class stuff though certainly not groundbreaking. the presentation is sometimes inconsistent but that's given in this decade of anime.
anyway, shinsekai rosed up sa my most anticipated anime this season
i just can't keep myself from getting excited as to what is in store for us for the rest of 14 episodes
ASDFGHJKLOIU7YTRDFGHJKOIUYTGFVB I WANT DAT BO SET!! I would buy it if I collected DVDs. English subs! OMFG, I want it x) tHANK YOU FOR THE PICS ;)
Ahm? I have almost no manga O.o I don't even have 200 volumes! I want many (MANY) series and, you know, a manga series like Naruto has 60 volumes by now. So I have just a few manga... Check out manga collections on YouTube, youll find enormous collections with 2000 mangas to 10000 mangas xD
Ahah, that's true xD
Thank you, I liked reading some aspects of that post.
Can you show me one or two pictures of your BRS BDs, please? :O I suppose they're japanese.
You can see what mangas I have here: http://myanimelist.net/blog.php?eid=520309
That's great! I really like figures and I dream on having them, but I just can't spend, like, 100€ on a figure! Some months ago I decided to buy Ultimate Madoka, which is the best figure ever, but I... quit. I can buy so many mangas with the money I would spend on a figure! I love figures, but I prefer mangas. You know, priorities...
The story of the OVA isn't amazing, but the OVA itself is awesome! I mean... everything xD
I envy you, really. I would kill to have all Madoka and BRS figures xD I wish they were cheaper...
And that's why I said "you" believe that. But you're right, I'm sorry. You have your opinion, you emphasized that and I came to your profile and kind of "attacked" you. Sorry, bro, I don't want to seem like a jerk.
So... You like Black Rock Shooter, right? Me too, I'm a fan since I watched the OVA xD I went to the music video with Hatsune Miku's song, wich I really like, and the art, of course. I mean, a big part of BRS is the art, we have this "obligation" in have a BRS wallpaper and spent time adoring fanarts and figures xD Of course I bought posters. Then the TV anime was announced, and I freaked out (and it even aired on NoitaminA, which is the best animation block ever!). Of course I watched it when it was airing and really liked it. This year I bought more posters xD I want to buy the Huke's illustrations boks someday ;)
Madoka Magica review, «It’s a magical girl series by definition that for quite some time I’ve been avoiding because frilly clothes and magic wands is not something a young adult should be watching or so I believe.»
anyway, psycho pass ep.7 solidified it. i'm momentarily adding psycho-pass again to my favorites. (which been slightly modified i guess)
i'm liking Makishima a lot.
