| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Everyone panicking ;o Dat OST again. My ears. I still admire Eren's determination in this series and the promises he has made. Some flashbacks here and there. Oop here comes another cannon shot. I kinda liked Armin's determination this episode as well.  The kid's got some balls. But ya, that bearded commander really pisses me off, even in this episode. Go Armin~ Ohi Pixus. Much cooler commander tbh. |

| Slow episode, but was okayish. Dat thick cloud.. lul. Didn't really like the flashbacks, as I was hoping for it to progress just a bit faster to the better parts.. Commander needs to smoke a big one. Also Armin using the obvious way to get out of this :3. Overall meh episode coming from a manga reader. I feel like they dragged it too much. Anyways next week will be the better parts. |

Production issues and for keeping the pace good? they will probably end it on Chapter 30-31. pming said: Unlike volume 7 volume 8's end is the starting point of an arc.Volume 7's end is a good conclusion for this season.They'll most likely end at volume 8 - they've no time to come up with something original in just 11 episodes. It's pretty certain that 1 to 13 is going to follow volumes 1-4 (very faithfully). |

| A slow episode this week and it's all about Armin. That doesn't make it a bad episode though. Next week is gonna be good. If they force action into this "extra" episode, things could be too tightly pack, no? I trust that they have it planned it out already. The pacing up until now is awesome. They probably know where to end properly, and this could have spared one extra episode for this 'recap.' Best way to see it: "Wow we're getting an extra episode!" :P |

I think it was his overcoming fear to stand for his friend that made the episode, not what he said in an attempt to bail Eren out of this mess. Verman is a douchebag and a coward who easily cannot overcome his fear of titans. I wonder how he got to become a ranked officer. I was expecting Hannes or Shardis to come to Eren's rescue (Hannes knowing Eren when he was a young brat and Shardis knowing Eren's father) but it turned out to be Pixis. I might have expected him to appear though, but I forgot the first time he made an appearance so couldn't count him. Somehow I feel that next episode will be fantastic now that Eren will have to show his worth to Pixis by holding off the hole in the wall. Does this mean he will help to hold off titan's until the Recon Corps return? I am so excited! 5/5 |
