| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- hahaha, real interesting indeed. first thing to note is the character design. you can obviously tell the meaning in the way they were designed. i found it rather annoying but i guess everyone does this type of thing. the ending song is well, meh i didn't find it that great but oh well. the story seems pretty cool, and it grabs your attention right away. the end of the episode basically hangs you to watch the rest, or you'll give it up right away. |

The singing interludes are soliloquies, with the girls openly stating their (somewhat abstract) feelings and fears. As the characters begin to gain the skills required to cope in their difficult situations, the soliloquies drop off. If the first episode feels slow, then the overall pace of the show probably isn't for you. It moves in inches, rather than leaps and bounds. |

| Interesting. It had some nice creepy atmosphere. I just didn't like the singing part- it felt so out of place. |

| The ED does not fit the atmosphere that the series presented in this episode. The character designs aren't great and seem a bit inconsistent. I was mostly bored with this episode. Let's see where it goes. |
| I already read the synopsis, so this was a bit dull. But even disregarding that, the character introduction hasn't been the most exciting. I'm still intrigued by all the mysteries going on. Furthermore, the girls adapting to their new lives as dead people and their group dynamic are hopefully going to be interesting. |
