| well.... I got 1 word to sum up on what I thought about this episode... "wow..." Hmm... the season was a bit of a .... bleh... The first episodes = loved it middle = went downhill :P final episode = It picked it up but.... incest O_O The original score would have been a 8/10... I rarely give out a 6... the -1 for incest... I don't like incest >.< So... the series got a 7/10 from me |

| this ending was one of the weakest i have ever seen. granted it was too predictable(quoting someone from last ep's discussion: "three way harem!"), the ending could have still been powerful(i.e. clannad s1, or even *gasp* da capo) plus i didnt quite get the 2 nagomis besides the fact that she might be an alien? or whatnot. in any case, i also hate incest endings(and the accompanying assurance that "we're not really blood related"). srsly how many more shows will we be seeing with that premise/ending? |

| And for once, a show ended with the girl I wanted it to end with. Hurray for incest! (even though they're not blood related and its a mini-harem ending.) I hope that they can show more about Nagomi in the OVA. Her twin(?) confused the hell out of me. Besides, although I actually liked the show even with all those cliches, Nagomi was the only interesting character in the anime. Still waiting for some group to pick the VN up. |
| Well kudos for him choosing the girl i thought was best. Crap though that they had to bring Yuhi back in the house. Still not rid of the tsundere biatch. think this one is a 5/10 in the end. First episode was best. middle was ... bad ... do-able at best. ending was lame because in the end they were too much of a cowards to have it end in a total Minato ending. |

| anyway I want to play the VN now. random thoughts.... yuuhi was a bit extreme in beating him up nagomi is creepy .... real creepy those are some terrible parrents. leaving him all alone in the middle of a mountain like they left him alone as a kid junichi used to be a bad ass. GENO KILLER RAWR wth? the teacher is equally creepy. randomly taking his student to the beach on his bike then leaving him there? I do have to agree though how he said others would find him in an enviable position. why are annonkouji and yuuhi in the same bed? yeah... of course it's not really incest, was basicly confirmed by the parents at the end. at least yuuhi was somewhat less of a bitch at the end but I'm glad he didn't go with her. the others really could of used more characterization. |

| Look .. you're all against the incest but judging from what the father said right at the end I got the impression that minato is not really his sister. Might even be an alien because of the X files & that little hint. Hell I have no clue, but sister? probably not. P.S liked the ending. |

 Oh man, that ending made me feel good inside. Maybe because I just love Minato like crazy :P. I knew that this ending was going to happen, but I still liked anyways. People have mixed opinions about this anime. For me, I liked it. Sure it was shallow at times, but it still gave me some laughs and the ending that i desired the most. I'm happy now :].  Can anyone explain this to me? |

| Well, that was an anticlimax. Especially the bathroom scene... I was looking to this episode to reveal the true character of Junichi, which it did to a greater or lesser degree. I thought the discussion with himself following Seijirou sensei's little pep-talk was pretty inspired, but in the end he was revealed to be immature, shallow and selfish. He decided that he can't live without his cute sister, who can cook and is sexy. Well, he can't live without her because he's completely lazy and depends on her for everything! That's not the basis for a happy relationship. There were some really nice scenes for the supporting cast in this episode. I loved both the sleep-overs, and the parents' "flying visit". Various things said by Nagomi(s) were incredibly cute and mysterious. I adore her Choroge. The X-files and other otherness hint at an intriguing background. I wonder if they're ever going to explain everything, or if they simply enjoy laying on the mystery to make this slightly lame series appear deeper than it is? I'm half wondering if Minato is actually a robotic maid prototype, which would explain a few things. I'm actually looking forward to the OVA, and I'll be re-watching this series in the hope of understanding what exactly it is that the wonderful Yuuhi sees in this guy. If he is to ever develop some character, then his sister is not the one drive him. Yuuhi on the other hand seems very determined, and may be able to kick some sense into him. I don't think he deserves any of them right now, but if Yuuhi sees his hidden potential then perhaps the OVA will be decent. |

| Akane was a failure. It had so much potential, but it really didn't do much. It had good animations and a wide range of amazing seiyuus, but even that couldn't save a show like this. You know Akane was bad, when the most interesting episode was about Tsukasa's boobs. |

The characters in this were non-existant and this was really only a bad fan-service show. As to whether this is the worst show in 2008, almost any Gonzo show(except Druaga) could qualify. We had some really really bad shows last year but Akane could qualify. |

| I got what I expected mostly. Cute girls and ecchi humor. Honestly what more can you expect? ^^ Extra points for the (possibly)incest and I enjoyed the brawls between Yuuhi and Junichi 7/10 shuffleair said: Akane was a failure. | Hmm. That ending was all over the place. The entire series just felt kind of hollow. I got some laughs out of it, but they were cheap laughs. It was just remarkably average. I did enjoy it in places, but not as much as I hoped I would. At times it looked like it was picking up, only to return to the same old clichés. A shame really. If the writing had of been better, I reckon this would have been pretty good. |

| So it ended up "Incest"! Throughout the entire episode, I was impaciently waiting for which way it would go, Yuuhi<=>Incest. Minato was my favorite character, so I liked the route the anime took. And, apparently, in the game he's really related to her, so I'll go with that! :D Anyway, it seemed liked a very open-and-friendly-love-triangle at the very end to me. In the end, I pretty much enjoyed watching this anime... （ ＾ω＾） ~"There were still some questions unanswered at the end though." ↑↑My only complaint that bothered me after the anime's conclusion. |

| I'm surprised so many are flabbergasted that an anime show actually ended without a complete explanation. I thought 95% of the anime made end like that? :) Show was ok, sure beat watching a re-run of Dukes of Hazard. I don't think their real brother and sister, but still they lived that way for quite some time. So your still rocking the incest boat mentally. I liked Yuuhi personally, but who knows what will turn out if there is an OVA... |
| 7/10 I can't say I'm that disappointed. I actually enjoyed it more than H2O but the decision part made me..."wah?" I have no objections on incest love but I was hoping a more complicated explanation. I think it missed some important parts, I wish that was filled up. Actually, I don't understand Junichi's decision clearly. It's like the thought just passed by his mind and he became decisive. Someone give a clearer explanation. Both of the girls are just okay for me. I don't disapprove of their character. I actually love them regardless of the ending. |
| I think the last episode messes realy up the things...ep 11 were good for making tension but this ep realy bad...ok everyone knows that Yuinchi have much greater than normal "concern" for his "sister"(there are bunch of implications that Minato not his sister...at least not from blood), but i waited for to Yuinchi's apology to Yuuhi not a confession to Minato...this were realy uncalled for... And other thing: if another season not comes then the whole spy couple scene-pack were meaningless...not to mention the UFO inspectors. Back to the "incest" ending: it shows a pretty weird way: If your sister has bigger boobs than your current girlfriend then ditch her and go for your sister...totaly wicked. |

| Minato - "Yuuhi, I think i may be adopted" (Don't recall the episode but 100% sure she said it in the anime, they were taking a bath together when she said that i believe.) "may" is the keyword there :3 And the scene with their dad at ep12 saying something like "I should tell him..." or something like that im assuming was related to her. Lol, does that cheer you guys up? |
| they are not (blood)related , that was made 'somewhat' clear at the end. It certanly wasn't worth 5 or 4 but it was entertaining so 3. the soul purpose of the show was pretty much (brainless) entertainment. Im ean it was based on an H-game, what did you expect? a plot? deep character development? And I'm pretty sure Rie, who was the VA of Yuuhi, just saw it as a fun side project. |
