The whole cutesy little girls and tranforming like back in Sailor Moon. Its a good show in my books but not even close to a classic like Akira. To use a Baseball analogy - it's like referring to players as "future hall of famers." Nobody knows for a fact that they'll be voted in, but with some players it's obvious. Same sorta thing applies here. I'm pretty sure people will still be talking about Madoka in 10-20 years. As for Akira - I agree that it is one of the all time greats, but it's hard to compare it to something like Madoka. Would you compare Schindler's List to Pulp Fiction? Both can be considered great films but it's a little hard to judge them on the same scale. |

| I went to the Madoka showing in Los Angeles. I enjoyed it. I hope they bring the third movie to Los Angeles as well. I remembered how at the end of the movie, they gave us a preview for the third movie (and yes, it is all new material); everyone in the theater just lost control, lol. |

| Heh, I remember watching the preview in a theater in LA last year(there were people from other cities there too, who had taken the train or driven with friends, so I thought it was a nice experience), and just like guyklc said, people went nuts. :P I wasn't expecting the things shown in the trailer/preview at all~ |
