I've been wondering for a while now... Please don't flame me and sorry if I missed the explanation, but why is someone like Binolt a criminal while those from the Zoldyck family aren't?

Is there a license to kill or assassination rules or something that makes it different?
who said they aren't?
Yup they are just too damn strong that nobody will go after them.
Ha, I see. I guess I had the wrong impression.

If you go back to earlier episodes, you'll see that Killua's goal is to become a Blacklist Hunter and capture and sell off his family.

Really good episode, i loved gons face when killua got slapped, its funny every time xD

Really like this so far, i have extremely high expectations for this show, perhaps too high. I dont want to read ahead with this though for some reason, I happily read ahead with one piece but reading this just doesn't feel the same for some reason.

Yea, I actually suggest you don't read ahead since you'll just feel really offended with the Anime producers breezing through some scenes which you want to see in motion with greater or at least equal tension as the Manga. They make it seem like this is a joke with the extreme pacing. Maybe just watching the Anime for now will do more good.

Great episode, I really love Biscuit's training method, she really wants to "polish" them. The fighting was cool, as well as the running and digging. Really like the ending, too (although it's not anything new, I know).

BISCUIT IS 57?! How has she managed to slow down/stop her aging process?!

And, Binolt's back-story made me tear up a little. No wonder he became a criminal. What's the point in doing the right thing when you're just going to get brutally beat down for it?

Fun fact: Bisky is Togashi's homage to Sailor Moon, his wife's (Naoko-san's) work. He really adores his wife.

As always, excellent work MH!

So I was waiting for one of those rare character-defining moments for Gon and it wasn't there.

Hey, people who bashed 99 for "whitewashing" of Gon? Care to explain how 2011 missed that part?

Care to explain why they added the scene where Binolt gives up his scissors?

Anyway, God I hate this arc. I hated it in manga, in 99 and in everything.

I wanted to see Gons reaction. I wanted to see he understand and doesn't care. They cut that out. I saw people refer to that part as one of the character defining moment for Gon. Guess Madhouse knows better than manga fans and Togashi, that talentless hack [/sarcasm].

Wow, this episode was a whole lot of fun which is something I couldn't say about Yorknew, as excellent as it was, with all the dying and all. I credit a lot of this with Biscuit and her interactions with the boys. She's a bad ass btw.

Ehh, don't like Bidit still, but the training between Gon and Killua helps make it better. Pretty good training, and maybe the best training battles I ever seen than others.

Prediction: They won't finish the game. This show seems to be about accomplishing personal goals rather than the goals that society/other people set out for you.

Its SO exciting to see them getting stronger!

I absolutely love the pacing of this series! The fact that they had like 12 years of source material to work with when they started this show is a dream come true for a Shonen anime!

Though they didn't show this scene exactly, I think they were able to demonstrate the same principles of Gon's character. Biscky told them he was a wanted mass murder I believe, and they showed Gon thank him using the honorific -san, and let him go.

Amazing episode.

The fight against Binolt was intense, I really thought it would take more than a week for them to catch up to him.

Then I remembered that we are talking about young proteges

Never saw the original series or read the manga, and the pacing seems perfect to me. No boring moments, all excitement. This is what separates this anime from the rest.

I know it's just some random murdering hunter, but it was really gratifying to see that dude's bloodlust worn down to the point of reflection and repentance. Gon strikes again!

And Gon is struck again (+ Killua x infinity). 'Cause Biscuit is just that awesome.

The big revelation, Bisky is in fact the teacher of Wing. When i first saw that, i was a little shocked, but i guess its not surprising given her age.

Stalk the stalker. SLAP LOL

Killua and his hag jokes lol

So this episode focuses on the training from Bisky, i remember this from the old series. It was quite interesting and helped gon and killua discover hidden talents they never knew they had. Is it just a coincidence that bisky suddenly feels the erge to train them? It felt sort of forced when wing just all the sudden decided to train them, but later it was revealed that he was actually a representative of the hunter exam.

So could Bisky have some other goal or means of the reason why she is training them, hmm, guess will have to see.

Btw lol, that ending, if you look closely, bisky's arm sure looked a little large for a skinny girl.

Didn't comment on the past couple of episodes, so...

Gon and Killua learned more about the cards in the game. They lost their first card almost instantly. When they decided to go to Masadora, they encounter a wide variety of enemies, most of which they're too dense to defeat.

I thought Bisky's VA sounded unusually deep. She's 57?! She looks like the same age as Gon and Killua. Old people aren't supposed to look cute! >.<;

I'm glad Gon and Kil are learning more about Nen, though. Hopefully Bisky will put them through the ringer.

Bisky is a hunter after all, In the manga it was stated she is a "gem hunter". So it suit her.
