I wish people would stop being so judgmental towards J.C. Staff (or any other studio, for that matter).

And seriously, people expected something really dirty just by reading the title? That's just plain sad.

Anyway, I'll watch it.

let them they don't care and besides even if they are going to watch this anime that's only done by this least favourite studio, but the anime itself turns out great than what people expect it to be, then they only got themselves to blame.

J.C. huh... I don't even remember the last series from them which didn't suck. Mediocre animation, usually mediocre/bad staff and voila, I think I'll remove it from PTW.

What are the last 5 or 10 series from JS Staff you watched?
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

I'll watch it, and gonna put the manga on hold :)

It is not from a manga.. You should read the initial post more closely.
And FYI, the manga is based on the light novel.

Well, with Little Busters my opinion on J.C. Staff is growing up a little.

Anyways, J.C. Staff isn't that bad. Toradora and Hayate no Gotoku are great adaptations they have made.

In fact, J.C. Staff handled Hayate no Gotoku better that what Manglobe is doing right now.

I have a feeling that J.C. Staff won't fuck up this one. Synopsis sounds interesting enough to me to give it a try.

You do realize K-On, the king of moe, is Seinen, right?

You seem to not understand what Seinen means... it doesn't mean dark mature action shows. It means its aimed at adult men. The majority of moe stuff is aimed at an older male otaku audience.

I was looking forward on this.........

Holyfucking shit. J.C Staff. Why they keep adapting good manga/novels and then they turn it into shit?!

Well, THERE'S STILL HOPE! Just look at Sakurasou! There's a small chance that they won't mess this up. Even though they are not borrowing staffs from other studio..... *crossfingers*

Thought Sakurasou is a pleasant surprise, still nervous about Little Busters, so I have a mixed feeling when I read... J.C staff...

Anyway, it's actually a good material, it's definitely one of the better ones if we speaking about LN. I will be sad if any studio fucked this adaptation and turned it into a no-substance show...

And why did they put that song as a BGM for the trailer?

Do you mean you see it selling somewhere between those two? That's a somewhat big range, especially if LB! keeps its momentum from the bonus episode announcement. Sakurasou is not going to sell much at all. Maybe 2k on a good day.

Yeah because LB could be an easy 10k if it does end up having a split cour and this should be a little under half of that with Sakurasou being a 1.5-2k seller. Still modest sales but in between those two.

This.

Everything I've watched by JC I have loved. I think people just hate their adaptions because they tend to deviate from the source material a lot or because they just want to be a part of some large hater movement. Anyways will watch.

Sakurasou preorders are so bad? What a pity (((. For now I like it more than ToraDora which is probably the best J,.C.Staff romcom for now(I don't count Nodame as one).

Don't see the point in complaining, its not like anyone is forcing you to watch this, if you don't like it and think it will be crap then there is a simple solution

don't watch it

People who say they go in with low expectations and still think its crap are amusing because in reality their mentality going into the series couldn't be any more bias, thus giving them little to no chance at being surprised.

Well whatever the case i will likely watch this, Sakurasou has been a great surprise and while I'm not saying this will match Sakurasou, it may be entertaining in its own way. Time will tell.

I'm not surprised JC Staff is producing it cause most of their series adapted from LN are romantic comedy or partly. All of their LN series are MF Bunko J and Dengeki Bunko series only too.

The good thing about JC Staff is that they complete the story of most of their series based on LN. These include Shakugan no Shana, Zero no Tsukaima, Toradora and most likely Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo too. Their best one will always be Toradora for me though.

I wonder if the LN series is about to end soon (at vol 7 or 8) and JC Staff is producing a 2-cour anime adaptation that will cover the entire series. If not then it's possible that it will get another season in the future. I think JC Staff only choose LN series that have high chance of their anime adaptation getting more than one season or their story complete, which happened to most of the series they already adapted.
