| I loved the new series. Season 2 is looking better than R2 from the 1st ep but we will see how things go i love every gundam including GSD xD dont hat em for it i just love them But this is looking so much better than GSD |

| I'm just going to start off by saying that everyone should cut Jacut a little slack. Sure, he's mostly wrong, but this is a forum where we discuss ideas, no matter how incredibly biased and poorly worded they are. This was a good episode. I agree with whoever said this was like a big trailer for the rest of the season, because that's really how it felt (Feldt): little bits of information being filtered through here and there. I especially enjoy the series' continued use of different techniques for telling the overall story (interweaving news clips with personal interaction with overall organizational views). It looks like Saji and Louise are going to be pretty obnoxious this season, though, and I hope that it turns into a pleasant surprise and there's epic Saji/Louise mech fights every episode. Setsuna looks like he might not totally suck at piloting this season, though I had to facepalm at the Gundam Cape. Seravee looks terrible. I can't even tell which parts are supposed to be humanoid anymore (though the headpiece snapping out was pretty sweet). New OP is sweet and awesome and good (they always do a good job with the closing shot, too). Lyle's recruitment was just ridiculous, though. They really didn't beat around the bush on that one, so either they couldn't figure out a good way for him to "bump into" Celestial Being or they just didn't have time to make a good recruiting story. Regardless, I'm a little sad that Lockon's going to just get replaced, and that everyone's going to have to deal with conflicting emotions of looking at Lyle and thinking about Lockon all season. Oh well... Look forward to the next episode. |

| Wow...WOW, This was really much better then I was expecting. Normally the first ep is a big flop but this definitely wasn't. I like how most of the original cast is back and still alive. Although I hope they keep it realistic and not come up with shitty excuses for how they survived. I'm also happy they're sticking with the slow story telling pace. This seemed to piss people off in the first season but I think it makes it way more interesting learning about things as they happen and not learning about everything in one or two eps. As much as I loved the first ep I do have some gripes with it. I hate how it's only been a half a year and a lot has dramatically changed. For example everyone's using Mecha that's equal to or better then Celestial Being's Gundams that where at the end of Series 1. Shit like that doesn't happen right after a world changing event. Not even if Livonse the cyborg leaked Veda info on how to make better Mecha (which I cant see him doing since it would mess up his plans). Also the fact that Louise is a Pilot after only half a year, probably less since Saji was already in space exactly a half a year ago. I did have a feeling she would be a pilot along with Saji at some point but I didn't see that happening so soon. I was a bit disappointed they threw that at us in the first episode. Also revealing that shels had some body mods done ala cyborg. Her brain also seems to be modification to react to Gundams...or may that was just her flipping out like Saji did seeing a Gundam after "so long". She also seems linked to Livonse too since he appeared to see what she saw when her eyes glazed over and lite up. In any case I'll continue to keep an open opinion like I did for the first season. I tend to like Gundam series better that way. comparing only makes things worse :P. I do hope it stays as epic. |

| Wow, what a great introduction/first episode to the second season. And Code Geass is still ranked higher than this? Wow, I mean come on. Code Geass has nothing on this show. Great episode, looking forward to more. |

But seeing Louise like that really hurts. I am not too fond of her and her being an enemy emo-pilot is not really s.t. to look forward to. Also it's pretty cheap to bring back most ppls favorite character in form of a twin. But well ... Overall this looks promising and better than the "ok" first season. |

For one Exia is at least 7 years old, since he was introduced as its pilot when he was 14. Secondly Exia wasn't exactly in mint condition, it's missing half its face and has a rag covering a missing arm ffs (that and it was fighting 2vs1). And Finally the GN-Xs were already a pretty big threat by the end of season 1, 3vs1 was enough to put any CB Gundam in serious danger, simply because the GN-Xs could seriously damage the Gundams. If you want ridiculous tech advancement just look at SEED/Destiny, they went from 0079 (UC) level tech at the start of SEED to late UC (covering several decades) by the end of Destiny, which happened in a span of less than 3 years. |

Setsuna seems to have at least grown up a bit and seems to be a bit less self-centered (evidenced by the thought about the world he and Lockon wished to create). Though, I will admit he is still a little on the blunt side, it looks like he's finally living for something more than his 'Gun...dam...' Ok, I admit that I am only using it because I am guessing a certain meaning out of this word that I have often heard elsewhere and that would fit my opinion of her current state (and that's not really my kind of thing). But I guess I shouldn't try it. Couldn't remember very clear. So if they really intended to use him all the way from the start, it's a bit different, but the general process is still there with a twin brother taking the same place with the same codename looking the same and feeling kind of wrong, though it's better than nothing. Of course he could really feel like someone different if his character is totally different (this could actually be expected). |

Thats what I originally thought but at the end of Season one Saji was in space and when he's talking to his boss in this episode he mentions "I've been here for a half a year, you can call me Saji Crossroad.." So either Saji was transfered their a half a year ago or they made a typo. I hope your right though. If this all happened within a half a year's time it'd be impossible but 7 is understandable. @Astaroth - My comment was assuming this all happened within a half a year's time. I wasn't sure if this was 7 years or a half a year. 7 is definitely understandable but a half a year is not thats why I made my comment. Seed and Seed Destiny was crap, I don't consider it a Gundam series. @Nameless_Hero - Like I mentioned, from what Saji said I thought this was only a half a years time. Now that I know it's 7 years my original comment is moot. It was an honest mistake :/ |

Even if the EF took 4 years to officially form, the major world powers had already worked together to make the GN-X, so it's probable that they kept working on the Mobile Suits even if they weren't under one government yet. |

Lyle Dilandy, Neil's brother who did not know anything about CB, is currently a member of Kataron and Setsuna hopes to recruit him into CB |

Haha, Gundam Specialist XDDD Yea, obviously Destiny was amaaaaaziiing! ROFL. Also, the Specialist thinks Geass R2 is better than Gundam 00 lol. Oh well, everyone's entitled to their own opinion fufu.
