| Jazz is one of the only genres I've never really had a chance to listen to properly and I'm thinking that maybe I should try. But as with every noob I know nothing of the genre and have no idea where to start. I think the closest I've come to Jazz is Jack Johnson's more "jazzy" singles. So is it possible for someone to link me some "good" or "popular" modern day jazz and some of the best classic jazz by famous artists? It would really help me out. Thanks in advance :) |

| The two that instantly come to mind for me have already been said: Baccano and Cowboy Bebop. I'm sure there are many more out there though :) post a couple that you find, I would definitely be interested. EDIT: Didn't realize this wasn't exclusively anime, but the music genre in general. I was born in New Orleans, and if you wanted to hear jazz, all you needed to do was walk out on the street. :P A lot of the suggestions previously made are veryy good though. Good places to start. |

| Well aside from all the good classics ppl have already posted, you might want to check bossa nova which is one of my favorite branches from jazz: To name a few bossa artists, next a little more classic Modern/fusion jazz I also love Jazz/hip-hop and well it's been said but try Nujabes (RIP) and Sinitus Tempo, they are great artists. |
