Not only is your review of Upotte!! pretty much spot on for that show but it also works for other light ecchi shows. Too many people will complain about something for not having a brilliant plot and deep characters when it wasn't meant to. The first rule (in my humble opinion) of reviewing something is don't criticise it for not being something it isn't trying to be.

I just wanted to say that I saw your review of Haiyore! Nyaruko-san and I found it to be so refreshing that somone else thinks MAL's rating system is broken. People blow off an anime if it isn't an 8, 9, or 10 but in reality if it is 5 or above it is still good. :)
