It was a really interresting reflexion on cybernatization. Mokoto saw a young girl that wanted to stay human. On the other hand, someone else sold all is organ to become an entire robot with a conscience. She is between the two of them, it must have conflicted her psychologically.

And beside all this, some scum trafic human organ. It was a pretty messed up story about a pretty messed up society.

Episode green color again!
Deep and the full emotional impact on the character of Motoko that for once you let go, so we retrace the history of her.
There is mostarta during the narration the irrationality of mankind.
Nothing wrong the final part where Major puts in place Batou!
Is priceless ...

Huh. I've been wondering why Motoko wears such a skimpy outfit all the time for awhile now, and this episode offered some explanation. I hadn't really thought about the psychological side affects of a completely prosthetic body; I think she's overcompensating out of some desire to still feel feminine/pretty. That's pretty interesting character-wise.

The tachikomas are as amusing as always.

Batou punching himself was pretty amusing too.

Illegal organ trading is a pretty nasty business.

totally agree, they add just enough humor, like when it got stuck and screamed desperately just for the mayor to say "wait" and it then is like "ok!"

every fiction and real life take on organs traffic make me feel weird in my stomach, yet I enjoyed the story a lot, particularly when Motoko confronted the band leader in the corner xD

Hmm I wonder if that watch holds any significance. Though its a stand alone episode this episode also does a good job of showing a different side of the Major.

Pretty decent episode, some character development, seeing their personalities a bit more.

Seems Motoko went with a scared straight approach. Funny little fight at the end there with Batou.

Wondering what the watch is supposed to be about, if anything, seemed like Motoko was trying to remember what it was like to have her arms or a moment of regret having the cyborg parts.

An interesting stand alone episode yet again, and it may just be my favourite. Organ traficking and the question posed about whether the Major falls in the camp of having prosthetics just for the joy was fascinating. Im loving the psyche of her personality a lot, and cannot wait to exlpore more of it!

Motoko and Section 9 are really starting to endear themselves to me after this episode. This was definitely an important one to throw into the mix since they were needing a little bit of character development.

So, if i understand this right, they were selling leftover organs from cyborgization? Thanks to their actions that girl received a heart and didn't have to change her body to artificial one, which is traumatizing at early age and very costly. But it's still wrong and they could've ran into trouble with real mafia that's stealing organs from live people, so Major scared them shitless and gave them an advice.

I only think that they are not just friends, but friends with benefits ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

The question isn't "What anime do you like?" That is merely a list.
The question is "Why do you like it?" That tells a story. Your story.

Tremendous episode and it was nice to see a different, softer side of Motoko. She did not have to give that geek a lesson in real life, but she did. I don't know too much about Motoko's background, but I think in a lot of ways she wanted her life to be just like theirs: good families, able to get a great education, and a lot of potential.

Really enjoying the show and looking forward to the next episode.

So the argument that Motokos sexy outfit symbolizes something is more or less true.

Really good episode.

Initially I thought it would be just an unrelevant sidecase, but I liked how much it fleshed out Motokos character.

Also lol at her beating down Batou.

The smile at the end was cute.

This show is starting to grow on me.

Episodes like this give some insight into Motoko's mind (she's otherwise pure soldier/policewoman). She has a strong sense of identity as a woman, despite the fact that she's had an artificial body since the age of 6.

I love how cool, calm, and collected our guys from section remain in situations like these, showing restraint, not letting emotions get to their head, especially Major herself. I believe their mentality will refuse to break under any amount of pressure.

edit: people having the nerve to call these episodes as "filler". You get "filler" when there's an overarching narrative, and then an episodic is shoved in the middle of that story that doesn't add anything to the plot. Maybe I'm wrong, and the whole Laughing Man matter actually is counted as the main story. But otherwise, this is clearly an episodic series dude. This is the equivalent of calling 22 out of the 26 episodes of Cowboy Bebop as "filler" because they don't have Vicious in it. It won't be anytime soon that a random soul will stumble upon this, but when they do, just know that this is meant to be episodic, before you write down and file your complaint. If I'm wrong, then I guess I'll just eat my words later.
