| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Nyanko-sensei sleeping, and Natsume sensing something. Old man's face on the door?? Youkai's conversation about wanting to ask Natsume... lol~~ Ishida-san's character doing filming. He got a note of offer to find "Hoozuki" or getting exorcising "Huzuki". "Tsukiwake Festival". Human don't do anymore but youkai still do for 10th year. He got a day to find "Hoozuki". "Hoozuki", which was supposed to be sealed by an exorcist, was there, but it's Natsume!! "Hoozuki" (white) vs. "Huzuki" (black). To chase something from the pot? They met again at the sealed place. They got caught by the trap set by the "Huzuki" gangs and got found out. Just realized... the youkai working under Ishida-san's character, Hiiragi, is the same as OP duo's name! |

| We need more women in this show, I mean can Natumse look even more feminine than this? Either way, I liked how this went and I was surprised that this a two episode arc. These are becoming more common this season. |

| Really liked it :O Natori-san was pretty awesome, as was Natsume. Looking forward to the next episode! Even if something is going on, Natsume Yuujinchou episodes are so peaceful (I fell asleep for a few minutes xD) 4/5 - I wished they explained the two gods and that they had more of a backstory. Oh wellz. |

Turns out, said episode hadn't even aired yet, LOL. Still, my thoughts are the exact same. It would be even cooler if two cosplayers made both the Houzuki and Fuzuki outfits and cosplayed together. Anyway, amazing episode. I was so pissed/anxious about the cliffhanger that I scared my cat xD Except for the slight dip in quality of the art/animation, I can't find anything to complain about in this episode. |
| Yes, finally this arc. This really should have been animated last season, but ah well. I love Natori. Seriously. So very much. The development in his character is just wonderful. He still has to remind Natsume that he's doing this to protect humans rather than to help the youkai, yet he's clearly softening up. And it's obvious he really cares for Natsume and I love his seiyuu for doiing an awesome job while chiding Natsume for doing reckless things. It's like he's holding back, but at the same time he really wants to look out for Natsume. rodac said: He calls them BOTH! "Natsume! | Natori is such a boring character. He's realy just there to deliver some shounen-ai fanservice and make the girls squeal. Leave the youkai chicks with Natsume and GTFO, we already have more interesting bishounen. So Hiiragi realizes humans can see youkai as more than just servants. Too bad she's falling for the wrong guy. And it's a pity the two duelling gods are just villans of the week and won't be explored any further. This is getting too episodic again. :/ |
| that was pretty reckless of natsume. she could have easily cut down all those logs. that's what he gets for thinking of youkai as something more than just that. but then again, that is one of his good points.... |

| I really like the outfit. Natsume was totally badass when he announce his presence to black robes, with his costume and hair waving in the wind Natsume took a lot of punishment this episode, first the waterfall and then the logs :( A really high level youkai just for a hunt, it's like an evil version of Madara. Youkai of god status really seem to be something else. Natori's development is really interesting. Just speculation, but I think he's always been reluctant deep down to kill or seal youkai, but he decided to prioritize humans and consider all youkai enemies of humans at some point because it's really tough to try to balance the two the way Natsume does. But seeing Natsume never give up and keep struggling to be in good terms with both youkai and humans must have influenced him and maybe reminded him of what he used to want. I don't think he will become as perfect as Natsume though. But if he starts taking youkai in consideration before resorting to drastic measures it's an important development already. |

| I still don't get Natsume. Just call Misuzu and get everything sorted. Kidding. Knowing Natsume, he would never do that. And he was a real man in this episode. First he declared his presence like he was the real deal in front of the Black Robes, and then jumped in front of Hiiragi when the logs fell. Cannot wait for the next episode. And sparkling Zura ja nai, Natori da is a playboy or innocent, douchira da? I have the same question lol. Obviously, 5/5, as always. |

| An actual cliffhanger episode of Natsume :D And the show just continues to surpass itself, I am just amazed at the quality of this season. Easily the best so far. If they can keep this up, 5th season yes please, thank you (If this is the 4th season, I lost count around 2). |

| Finally, I was awaiting this episode for so long ♥ Okay, in few words, this was very much a squeal feast for me. I mean, Natori. I adore Natori. Especially sparkling Natori. Just look at his expressions, just look at them! He’s just jealous of Natsume’s fabulous outfit~ “Hiiragi, I just saw a youkai that looked a lot like Natsume…” “No, that was Natsume.” That was priceless. Hiiragi is always such a nice youkai. I enjoy her interactions with Natsume and concern over Natori, in hopes of softening up his mostly impassive nature. FREAKING CLIFFHANGER. WHY YOU—! In any case, I can’t wait for next episode ♥ Also, if they happen to explain Houzuki and Fuzuki’s background story with a bit more of depth —and I think they will—, I’ll be more than glad~ |

| ahh a cliffhanger. natsume would be alright though, right?? is it me or is the ayakashi from the hunt looks like nyanko sensei? i also feel like this mission of finding and releasing the seal is just a ruse to seal the other god. for matoba perhaps? natsume looked really good in that outfit. i hope he keeps wearing it in the next episode :D |
