| This is already pretty close to impossible to adapt well yet they even pick a sh*tty crew. Dan Mazeau only co-wrote the screenplay for Wrath of the Titans, he hasn't worked on any movies besiden that and let's just be honest with ourselves... That movie had good visuals, but the screenplay was pretty mediocre. Peter Segal had a couple of pretty decent movies, but they're all comedies even if some mix a bit of action he has never worked with supernatural stories or heavy visual effects same goes for Ewing. Masi Oka's first time producing so far besides acting he had only assisted in visual effects. Hoffs has nothing much as well. Branon Coluccio has nothing listed on IMDB which is always a good sign [Irony]. |

That is EXACTLY how I feel about these attempts. Though in my opinion only a few directors could pull it off. Edgar Wright would be my first choice based on the fact that I like him and the quality of work he did on Scott Powers shows he can handle the special effects/battle side. If he wasn't tied to Disney for pretty much life Joss Wheedon would be another one I think could do it. Lastly and I am likely to get roasted for this...but...Micheal Bay could at least make a watchable adapted anime live action movie. But oh yeah I agree with you and then there is the flip side. They could actually turn out a decently watchable movie. |

| Live action Bleach movie?? oh well...I can't say I'm excited cause I know what they did with other anime-turned-movies...:-? and dunno, they have to find pretty good actors (i mean very good ones) to play such great characters and have a awesome team to make all those special effects seem real and battles and...practically...the Bleach world. everything must be perfect if they want to produce a great movie. And this is...kinda impossible. I don't wanna be mean but seriously, i think i'd die if I see Ichigo, Gin or Byakuya!! played by some lousy actors...T_T I'd die and then i'd kill the whole crew who produced the movie. Well, we just have to wait to see what's gonna happen. :D |
