| The mayo-grenade... And Hijikata stripped himself and the unconscious officers , then re-dressed them? Kinky The sadistic duo was classic, and of course, kinky. And the pole... WHAT THE HELLLLL, KONDOUU?!??? (kinky??) ah.. I can't get enough of Gintoki, former Shiroyasha turned model citizen- I need that lovely, sparkling face XD And finally another Ginpachi-Sensei!!!! I can never get enough of his lollipop wither ;D Kinky Oh yea, and Takasugi showed up~ (Kinky?) Fishing for sadists with doughnuts? (KINKY.) What a greatkinky episode! (I've said "kinky" too many times, now it sounds weird.) Next week, Who Wants to be a Madaoullionrrie?! |

| Awesome and amazing arc! Lots of nice little moments. Love it whenever Takasugi appears, too! :) Gintama never fails. That a funny show like this can have such great serious and action-packed arcs... It's simply awesome :) |

| Amazing ending to an amazing arc. I wish i could go fishing for Nobume :( And that scene when Takasugi makes an appearance my pulse increased a bit. damn i was hoping for a serious arc with him and Kamui involved. but i suppose i can wait. Next episode looks great, Madao is greatness. |

| I didn't really like Tetsunosuke and the focus on him, even though he was needed as the catalyst for the arc. Felt like he detracted from the awesomeness of this serious arc on the whole. I loved all the Hijikata backstory stuff though! Last two episodes were badass too. |

| I really liked how this arc came out. Reminds me how good Gintama's serious arcs are. They had the good ole hilarious moments and then the really touching moments. Toshi's back story was so cute and tragic, I just loved it. Omg, Is really hot with a ponytail, I couldn't stop thinking that lol. Now they all know his identity as a former Joi patriot, I love it. Oh wow, I can't wait until the Miwa come back with Takasugi. Sounds like a badass arc right there!! Ginpachi Sensei <3 |

| I am finally caught up with the Gintama anime! And after a week of marathoning season 5, this arc was definitely worth it! Surprise VA's were a treat too. :] Oh Kondo-san...to think that I believed it couldn't get any worse. XD Can't wait for next week!!! |
| aww man. After Gintoki mentioned his former nickname I just KNEW Takasugi was going to appear. Plus Gintama villains typically turn nice at the end of the arc, but Sasaki showed no sign of that. Sweet. These guys will obviously be working together in the future and I cannot wait to see what will happen. The 2 new characters are also based off historical figures who apparently had a hand in Sakamoto Ryoma's assassination so perhaps Sorachi will do an arc dealing with that. It sure would be awesome. Not that I can see Sakamoto dying in this series :P Aaaaaaanyway I couldn't really get into this arc. I did enjoys bits of it, especially learning of Hijikata's past, but Tetsu story really bored me. And his eyes are ugly. Plz put those sunglasses back on, yo. |

| The end of an awesome arc!!! While it was hilarious as always, it included some truly epic fighting scenes. Finally, Gin-chan declaring proudly that he is the White Yasha. I loved the hip-hop elements added as well. AWESOME!!!! |

| finally!!! amazing way to end the arc. hijikata was pure badass the whole way through, but the perfect mix of his touching story about his brother made this arc AWESOME and LOLOLOLOLOL at kondou on the pole xDDD ginpachi sensei with the lollipop was hilarious. WHY WAS THE END OF A LOLLIPOP STICK SMOKING?! ._. and "madaodog madaonaire" looks TOO FUNNY, cant wait |

| I enjoyed the last two episodes of this arc a lot more than the beginning. Once again Gintama wipes the floor with 99% of other shounen anime with its "serious" arcs. |
