| That was an intense fight! Gave some goose bumps while watching it! But in the first part.. i felt sorry for ippo's mother.. looks like she handles the business on her own now.. also the scene with the girl riding on the bike showed a hint of romance in this anime.. that was one ultra cute chick hehe |

| This is so awesome... I never thought boxing could be this interesting. It's amazing to see how much Ippo has improved compared to their first time sparring. Gaaah I want to marathon right away but too bad it's time to go home. |
| My goodness... I told myself I was going to watch a couple of episodes then go to bed. Six episodes later, here I am. I can already tell I'm going to enjoy this series all the way through. Fantastic. |

| as much as i'm enjoying this anime, i still wish the sport wasn't boxing. it's just so hard to watch people beat up each other (and probably cause brain damage), especially with a handsome face like Miyata. protect your face damn it |

| If this sparring between rookies can be that freaking exciting, then I can't even imagine how exciting future fights will be! The fight choreography was awesome, and so was the animation and the sounds. I love the pacing so far and I can't wait to see more! 5/5 for this episode. |

| Damn defending against a counter by stepping in, I bet that takes some courage as you can expect a good hit against your face. Also that counter of Miyata against Ippo's uppercut must have hurt a lot. |

| It's the first round of a long-awaited rematch and it's a very exciting match so far. Seeing how Ippo could've finished it all in the first round, I was impressed at how they're pretty much on even ground now. Time for Round 2! |
