| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Sora Amata? It seems like he was a descendant of the prequel people? (At lease I felt it.) He works in a theater where customers came less Attractors' constant attack. Rabbit-lookalike cat is "Shushu" on the girl's head. Attractors attacking and Aquarions to the rescue. M Aquarion = female riders and S Aquarion = male riders? With the attack, Amata got stucked under protecting the girl. He used his power inside the boot to get in to one of Aquarion. He did "forbidden" spell. "Evol"s birth. |

D8 who's the guy with the red hair and yellow eyes?! o_o i suposse that Amata Sora is one of the descendents of Sylvie, 'cause he have wings o_o perhaps there are two wings of the sun, like the two siren reincarnation on Sousei no Aquarion? | Seems to have started off on a more interesting note than the Aquarion series before this one. Loved the concept behind it, the animation is good and the music is still the same which is great :p 5/5. |
| For now it's far better than the first series thanks to Yamamoto as co-director and the decreasing influence of Shoji Kawamori (who is a great creator/writer but not a good director by any means). The fights were awesome and the characters already more interesting overall compared to the first series; the concepts better developped and introduced also. |

| okay i am a fan of Aquarion first of all and i enjoyed the first episode that looks like it takes place either a millenia after the first or 12,000 years after the first one, they are kinda of vague on how long after. |

| The quality of the visuals and art was very well done. Also OMG A NEW AQUARION!! i had manly tears when they started to play the music and combine. |

Or this may be just the way they want things. Dunno. Want see more .. Btw, 5.0 OST, action, char.design. I hope this show won't make me feel bad as the first season. |

As others have said Apollos soul from the original may have been split as was his ancient females loves in the original. Though it could be transdimensional counterparts and so on. Either way it is NOT a coincidence and DEFINITELY on purpose. I suggest watching the original series(the OVA and movie don't cover this if i recall/have heard right) since it may make more sense then. |

People WOULD have thought you watching porn from the sounds they made when merging. |
| That was interesting. Not so sure about the extremely generic and oddly use of the ''Transformers'' transformation scenes. But, still very good. Looking forward to the next! |

| Dat high budget anime. It seems that Yūki Kaji who also voiced Arata from Accel World voices the MC for this series. Well, isn't that interesting? While I admit that I did not enjoy the original series before, this sequel sure has gotten quite interesting. |

| With the annoncement of the dub release in December I have started to re-watch the series and some parts about the first fight made me realize 2 things. SPOILERS: Later Mikono's "connection" is fully realized, but it also may have been the reason for everyone's powers here being amplified: Zessica's hand print in the mountain, Keyenne's vision being visible to everyone, and Amata's power levitating not only Aquarion but the ground and shackles around it. Also, we have the same exact first merge from the first series here. We have both reincarnations, the heroine's brother, and the big bad's unwitting pawn toward the series end. Only with one more person this time. |

| I can't say that I'm impressed by what I just watched, but I'm willing to give this series a shot. On a different note, I can see that Mikono is probably going to be a problem for me. |
| Matsuoka Yoshitsugu has hardly any range as a voice actor, and is grossly over-cast. Yeah. I said it. |
| Mikono chargin' muh hi-ero particles... oops, wrong anime... (almost) I sort of dropped the first season our of losing interest. Picked this one up because it's supposed to be a bit different and not really need season1. I'm not impressed. It feels about the same... probably won't make it past one more episode. | I watched the first episode of Aquarion Evol earlier and it was really great. I liked how it basically started out with the story of the first series, well the legend having been made in to a movie and a boy who’s obsessed with it who works at a cinema, that’s such a neat concept. It was quite different from the original series - they didn’t want male and females to merge whereas before they really didn’t care but they said it was in the ancient text or whatever but it was never mentioned before. They did in the end though lol. And thus Aquarion (who hadn’t been called it for years apparently until Fudou told Sora to call it by it’s true name) evolved! Fudou looked so different! lol. Also they just seemed to shoot a lot more than any other attacks. The new red haired guy Kagura who’s pretty hot acts a lot like Apollo from the first series with the sniffing people etc lo. But he called the boy Sora Solar Wing and he did fly/have wings and keep floating off the ground, and his name is Sora so maybe Solar Wing/Apollonius soul was split in two like Celiane’s was last time. The art was really cute and amazing! I love the art style, I liked the original too though. Mikono seems like a really nice character, I love her outfit but I wouldn’t call that thing a cat! lol.l. More like some weird, bunny or something. It’s funny how in the dub at least her and Sora are voiced by the ones who did Silvia and Apollo in the original lol. Nice touch. Neo Tokyo looks more like Venice! it’s so pretty *____* I can’t wait to see the rest of the season and see what happens! <3 I hope I love it as much as the original, I was gonna watch the movie too where they changed the first one but it’s not dubbed, may watch it later subbed. |

| bored silly not sure if i will continue watching. I'm glad they added other people in the transformation because they main characters were even call the chosen ones in the anime barf lol Maybe there is some good side character development |
