| I liked the episode, but not the open ending. They ended it right as it got into the plot. :( |

| There wasn't much action in this anime. (the genres said action!) Anyways, I didn't really find this anime any special in any way to be honest. I've seen waaaay better. Overall, I did enjoy SOME episodes, but a majority of the episodes were just average to me. I loved the moments with Toki x Kuchi though. =p 5/10 |

| This episode makes me hope for a second season. I really want to see what Bonten and Tokidoki do, and also I want to know what happens to Shinonome, and Shinshu as well when she learns about her brother. There's so much this show left hanging, and so much more it can do! I loved the way they resolved the fox and tree part, especially with the fox carving. So adorable. I was surprised that the Princess would do something so bold while everyone else was away, I do have to say. This is especially true when coupled with the fact his priestesses and monks that came to train under him were scattered around the shrine, passed out. This episode is beautiful and ties together so many loose ends, but it leaves the show open to so many possibilities. I sincerely hope it gets a second season so I can continue to enjoy it. |
| I was really enjoying it until the last episode...and then I was really let down. It was too quick and didn't give me any closure. Guess I'll have to pick up the mange to find out how it all truly ends. |

| Hmm...overall I'll rate this a 6/10 although I'm leaning towards to the 5/10. Oh and I haven't read the manga so no idea how the original source material compared to this. Anyways, the OST and OP song were pretty decent and some of the characters like Kuchiha were likable imo. I'm not too sure about the rest though as well as the overall plot and development. Ending wasn't what I had hoped though. |

| i heard that a crew member who was working on this was sent to jail, so they had to discontinue it... i hope for a second season... but i really dont think it will happen.... its already been a while anyways |

| Whenever it seemd like the show was gonna achieve closure or really form a real connection between characters or deeper plot development...it forked it up...*sighs* So much could have been done with the show; had such nice morales and potential....oh well...6/10 at best. |
| Interesting characters , fine storyline , good setting , messed-ending , 7/10 is the perfect score for this anime. Such ending left me with a slight disappointment , but overall I enjoyed watching the series. I'm going to read the manga then , the story took captive of me already :P |

| Really not satisfied with the ending ugh. Wish this was a long running anime that would've been so awesome but somehow the best ones never are, they are always too short. Gonna read the manga I think. |

| That was pretty average. I feel like the show needs more episodes to explain and progress the plot. Since nothing really happened that could make a difference. 5/10 |

| Hmmm... To be honest watching this felt like a chore for me, although the concept overall is nice it seems like they made it... uninteresting. Props to the bird guy, cool man. Either way, concur with several of the posts above, it NEEDS a second season but at the pace it goes... it's almost 15 years already and we still see nothing. 5/10 |
