j0x said:this anime is about risk/reward trade-off
the greater the reward the greater the risk (and vice versa)
the lower the reward the lower the risk (and vice versa)
http://www.businessdictionary.com/definition/risk-reward-tradeoff.html
and because of this risk/reward trade-off they have to control the game/deals or their self in order to minimize the risks/dangers and they do that by winning games with few margin of defeat or win. I'm curious how Kimimaro will break this cycle if he will ever break it later on Nice one! It is indeed that but the thing is that hell cares for any of that. It is curious more of what the humans will do about it. If there is shit like people losing their jobs, it's easier for Masakaki to recruit people. I think there are conditions for the one who is chosen to partake in the game. There must be something to be chosen in to enter the financial district.
I like you analyzing so I will get into it too.stevethapirate said: good ep
Couple of thoughts
1. That girl that Kimimaro likes is going to not be able to go to the school or whatever it is she got accepted to when he wins the next battle. The way I figure this is that she is supposed to be Kimi(maro)'s "future". So the more he wins the closer she will be to him, the more he loses the less time she will be with him You mean Hanabi? She does have the guy she goes out with so the first thing that needs to be done is for Kimimaro to beat him big time! So he loses everything. I wonder if it shall happen? We shall see if Kimimaro's action to affect her. If so then I will agree with you on this.stevethapirate said: 2. There is no way Mikuni is a straight up good guy(unless point #5 see below), eventhough right now I kinda like him. I just cannot trust the guy who seems ultra cool and does the dirty work for good type thing. Also he and Kimi were fighting in the OP. IDK though that could be a troll or they just werent thinking about what they were doing/ going to do. It could be Kimimaro does something stupid or does not accept what Mikuni may be doing at some point and so rebels. I think Mikuni is a good guy due to his past and father. So in no way I can agree with you about him being bad but suspicious is for sure to look up to.stevethapirate said: 3. Mikuni definitely has some sort of ulterior motive or connection when it comes to Kimi (unless piont #5, see below). Something like he killed his dad or something like that. Or he believes that Kimi will be able to help him do something that is bad in the district (which could turn Kimi all emo cause "Mikuni was like a father to me and he betrayed me" BS. That BETTER not happen or its ruining the show
It would be interesting to see if there are going to be any of that. Right now I am more curious if Mikuni is related to Kimimaro's father in some way and it is not revealed yet.stevethapirate said: 4. Midas money=bad
I believe they mentioned how the suicides and the like have been increasing in the country, this together with the fact that Mikuni's Midas Money has begun to support the country prob means that the more Mikuni invests then the worse the country will get. It may not if Mikuni plays his cards right, thus why he wants all control of the financial district because he knows Midas money has infested the real world and like he mentions to break all this would plunge humanity into chaos. It's funny because so people IRL are preventing that from happening but with nano it can. It is far too late to stop nano from being further developed. In fact the same can be said about electrical cars and the oil companies conspiracy to shut down the creators to gain more profit in cars only using their gas. Stuff like that is interesting to relate to this anime.
stevethapirate said: #5. Mikuni will die. If hes not going to end up being a bad guy he is dying somewhere in the next 3 episodes. It's possible but I think not. He will most likely die with his fight against Kimimaro.stevethapirate said: But IDK its 3AM and im prob overanylyzing. Whatever...... Over analysing is good sometimes. It brings out the overflow of ideas and thoughts. I liked your analysing. It was fun to reply to. |
