Incredible job with your blog posts for Yojouhan. I thoroughly enjoyed all your posts, and they greatly enhanced my understanding and appreciation of the show. Also I was quite enamored with your word selection. I consider myself relatively erudite of the English language, but even I was thrown for a loop with your excellent command of the language. Many of the words you used had an extremely high Difficulty Index on, so I do have to strongly disagree with a comment you made about "the majority of people being familiar with the words you use" since according to very few English speakers are familiar with the majority of the complex words you used (I myself hadn't even heard of a handful of the words you used, and that's with decades of reading hundreds of the most acclaimed and famous works of literature..).

Once again want to thank you for your hard work, and if you ever come back to Mal I just want you to know that we appreciate your dedication, effort, and the superb analysis.

no issue, just browsing through your issues are good enough for me

thank you!

Just passing by.
I often see you in the [C] episode threads and posts links to your blog for your review. It was actually a good read to understand the show more. It would be great if you would actually write a review of [C].

sylvalent | Jun 25, 2011 9:16 AM
dear micheal,

i've problems posting replies on your blog thus has been an anonymous visitor.

however i'd like to thank you for the efforts you put in the episode-by-episode reviews of [C]

it's been a really long time since there's a thought-provoking anime like [C], let alone someone who bothers to go through the trouble and analysis it in detail like you did.

it's my regret that i can't have a discussion over at your blog and my my knowledge and command of language is nowhere as good as yours.

But still it's an pleasure to explore your entries and i'm glad that you like [C] too!

Keep on the analysis coming in C! I love it! It's amazing in fact! All of it is amazing! Add me as a friend if you wish because I am a fan of yours! In Madoka a analyzed as much as you.

Haha, you're the ideal type of blogger that I aspire to be. It's great that I stumbled upon your blog.

By the way, you really should watch Madoka. That show is a show deserving of posts of your writing style.

I would just like to say that your blog is the best anime blog I've ever had the pleasure of reading.

Hey, just felt like adding you to my friend list. Hope you don't mind :)

I'm afraid I didn't watch the DVD episodes. There is all 101 episodes sourced from laser disks on, however. I'm not particularly fussy when it comes to quality--especially for a show like Touch which has routine animation and art--so I didn't really seek the DVD versions.

Hope this helps.

By the way, I bought 'The Sound and the Fury' (Norton Critical Edition) because of your username. :p I'll likely read it very soon.

AHR | Jul 9, 2010 1:14 PM
Hey. Could I mooch some criticism for this? :)

ESSWHY | Jun 9, 2010 5:34 PM

Sorry for all the trouble.

ESSWHY | Jun 9, 2010 5:27 PM
Sure, thanks.

I just figured if a post like:
"Hahah Didn’t even realize the game of the way,It look like a town ,I think i can see river and railroad but maybe its just my imagination ^^" could get through but mine didn't then something was broken.

ESSWHY | Jun 9, 2010 12:14 PM
I tried posting it a couple times, but it didn't work. I'll try again.

Didn't work, it just said

"Hmmm, your comment seems a bit spammy. We're not real big on spam around here.

Please go back and try again."

ESSWHY | Jun 9, 2010 12:39 AM
Hi, I tried to post a comment on your website but apparently it thinks my response is spam. I don't really understand why, and am vaguely insulted. Can you please explain to me what your filter seems to be catching in my response that it deems as spam?

My post:

"I just feel like pointing out that there are 3 hearts on the board game of love, just as he as the 3 possible love interests in episodes 6-8(I assume).

The clover, however, is something he is very far away from, so this probably represents Akashi (from Watashi's perspective). He probably thinks it would just be luck (or accidental fate) if he were ever to reach Akashi.

But who knows, sometimes things like these can be accidental. That and it is easy to find tiny details to support a whole range of wild crazy ideas--when it comes to analyzing things in depth--in general!"
