| so i'm confused... what part of this entire episode gave off a yugioh vibe? other than the word "card" being used, which is an ATM card might i add. not trolling, just seeing the specks of "yugioh" throughout this discussion got me wondering. |

| Alright, they fixed the horriblerific animation. Though I still find the art questionable, at best. I bet this'll turn out to be on the top 2-3 of this season. It's too bad the only notable seiyuu is Tomatsu Haruka. I totally approve of both OP/ED though, btw. And I lol'd at the "goat servant". Or whatever he was. |

| Whoa. My hype for this since the announcement of this show was really paid off by the 1st ep. Everything really caught my eye including the OP and ED. Liked the Pinkhaired Hat guy. Definitely following this. |

| I love it! Everything was really interesting and weird. Also, Masasaki was awesome in the whole episode and Kimimaro too. Plus, nice OP & ED. |
| It really was amazing, as many others said. The idea is quite original and even though I'm usually not into shows with card game themes, this has catched my interest. Masakaki is truly awesome and kinda creepy, wich does make him seem like Break Xerxes and well, who doesn't love Break? Also, Sakurai Takahiro is voicing him! I hope he has a big role, it would definitely be enjoyable to watch him. |

| Umm, what? What I expected was more realistic series on money and business, but now it is about superhuman-psychic battle anime? I really don't know if I can buy that. Let's hope it does better in next episode. For now, it is just one big mess. |

| Great start, hooked from the beginning. Nakamura stays close to Mononoke in terms of direction (visual overload) and it's nice to see he brought Sakurai Takahiro (the medicine seller from Mononoke) with him as Masakaki. |

| A series about money and investments eh? Pretty original, but pretty hard to follow as well! o.o So you'll have to give up your future in return for unlimited money. Looks like you don't even have a choice once you're "chosen" anyway! I guess I'll give it a chance. OP and ED are nice as well. All sorts of currency came along in the OP. |

| This was the only anime I really wanted to watch this season and it didn't disappoint me. Not yet at least. I wonder what kind of character Mashu will be. |
| Ah so that's it. I thought Masakaki resembles someone and it's kinda Willy Wonkish. LOL This looks promising. The intro was so hype though I'm curious how the game is played. My only gripe is the love interest. There's many reasons a story can begin from. Oh well, I'm just hoping it will be better than Higashi no Eden in that area. Execution of love stories/interests in Durarara feel more natural to me than in Higashi no Eden. |

| Fantastic first episode, Nakamura is a really good director, the main character is excellent and the concept is great too. So much potential there ! I'm amazed at the number of great shows this season (I expected it though), far more than in any season these last two or three years. |

| Freaking awesome. Very excited about this anime so let's see: The beginning was fairly good. The "battle" foreshadowed a bit of how the financial District systems work but the strange focus on money was really intriguing. But THEN! That whole part with that Masakaki slowing baiting the protagonist into joining the fray was just so exciting! My tension was so high when it ended. If they keep this up, this is gonna be awesome. I am really happy that there was such promising anime in this season.. I couldn't wait to watch the next episode of. Now to the part where it hurt me, That part where Hanabi reveals her boyfriend to the viewers and how HARSH THE REALITY IS :( :(... I wonder if she really is going out with the guy just because of his money? What will happen to her and the protagonist? I can't wait to know about that part. |

| Hmm... i really don't know what to think of it. Certainly not very typical but with a show like this i have to see more development to form an opinion. Not a bad start but as it is, it can develop to a masterpiece or complete crap. I like the artwork though. It seems quite nice. Btw can anyone give me one of those cards? I'm broke. |

| I've just finished Eden of the East (and I loved it), it's true that it feel a bit similar. Anyway, does somebody noticed that thing in the ED? : "ED sequence of noitamina 26th episode..." I know what is noitamina, but I can't understand the meaning of this sentence... |
