Well, I knew it's only going to get more Nitro+ as the show progressed. Plus, Shinbo loves doing stuff like these, wouldn't have put it past those 2.

Episode 3 was amazing.

Ahh so they deliberately planned to troll all the little kids who believed they were watching a happy magic girl anime. I see I see. At least he's coming out and apologizing (while probably laughing on the inside).

Lol, So how many of you got trolled by him?

Lets just say that even without the so called dark elements, the show is great through.

I am interested to see how the story goes on.

After the "heart-warming" ending of Saya no Uta, I didn't expect anything less from him. And he delivered.

Heh, “cute healing anime” by Urobuchi-shi sounded like nonsense from the very start. Still episode 3 managed to freak me out a little.

No, not really. The show airs at 1:25 AM, so no little girls/boys watch it. It's otakus that were deceived, they expected a moe show with little lolis they can fap to, but got something else.

From the first episode and pessimistic OP I was very aware that the show would be dark and glorious. I cannot wait to see how this show will turn out.

Why should he apologize? This fact is what I feel is gonna make me love this show even more than I already do.

I was getting a Kitoh-Esque vibe from the first episode, glad to see the shadow star Narutaru formula of "show getting dark around episode 3" was there ^_^

The headline gave me an instant lol reaction.

I was really expecting something darker in the theme and it came out.

Though I wasn't expecting someone to die that time.

Huh, I thought ep 1 made it pretty clear that this wasn't your typical happy go lucky magical girl anime. The very first scene in the first ep is pretty eerie.

Actually the show is exactly what I expected it to be. And wasn't too shocked when I saw episode 3 as the show was already twisted.

Man, I bet they're having a blast. I can just see the guy giggling as he promises his new work will be all rainbows and unicorns. But it's not like I'm complaining, this is exactly what I was hoping for.

@MikeOnHighway61: First of all, use spoiler tags. Second of all, some wishes could be forbidden or they could get corrupted, taken too literally, have side effects, look useless in retrospect when your whole family is murdered and you wasted the wish on something relatively trivial...there'll be massive drama no matter how they deal with the issue. And then there'll be more massive drama that's unrelated to this particular issue.
Trust me, this series is gonna be dark and the events of episode 3 WILL have consequences.

Lol, Ever since I heard the ending theme Magia (from the CM), I was certain this show would never be your fluffy lighthearted magical girl show lol. So dark and rock. And first 3 episodes just confirmed it all. 8D

you people DO realize that they are going to revive the busty one with one of their wishes anyway, right? so, violence? maybe, but without any major consequences to the show, so no matter...-.-

Haha. You think Urobuchi would actually make it that easy. That's hilarious

Jesus, Gen took us for the idiots... i feel so underrated... yet he's so awesome that i don't care. Either way, it was way too obvious after they revealed that Urobuchi's writing story.

as far as Urobuchi is concerned, I only watched Requiem for a Phantom and... yeah, let's not talk about that...-.-

But ok, we shall see how the whole thing works out, this was just me speculating here^^

I think he shouldn't have apologized. We were supposed to be waiting for something like that to happen anytime, and yet most of us didn't; that's what makes the show more exciting.

QFT.

Just because you can fap to it doesn't make the show any less endearing. Last I checked, people fap to anything.

The second I saw the writer's name, I knew it would be a brutal and evil anime. I LOVED episode 3 though.

I liked it, and it is on at 1:30 in the morning, if kids are watching it, the show is not the problem.

Before the show aired, they were trying to hide that Urobuchi was behind the show so he tried to pretend he was making a normal story compared to his other, more darker works

It's not really an "apology" as much as it is him showing courtesy and probably telling us to get ready

A cute healing anime? Lmao it's by Shaft, I had zero expectations for this show to be cute and fluffy like other mahou shoujo shows. I knew it was going to be dark from the very first episode.

LOL! It wasn't that gory. They didn't even show
Nonetheless, if I were some little kid watching this, I guess I would have been scared. But it's on after midnight, so it's not a show for little kids.

No need to apologize. In fact, Madoka Magica (aka Faust - The Animated Series) might turn out to be the best Shaft series in a long time (as far as I'm concerned) thanks to G.URObuchi's writing.

Yeah, the show definitely had a darker tone to it, and I suspected something like episode 3 would happen. It still caught me by surprise, but at the same time I sort of expected it.
