| Wow, the milf actually went out of Pallet Town. Too bad Araragi is too much of a pilf and overshadowed her a little bit. Either way, having the milf along was quite a nice addition. |

| I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Troll subs! Mijumaru's reaction to not being picked was adorable. I hope someone picks Pignite, because I feel kind of bad that he hasn't got much attention! |

| I think the animation is brighter than the previous series. Satoshi always had dark/black eyes. Within the first few moments of the episode I was sitting in awe at how colorful everything was. And I love how there's only one or two episodes out and there's already hate for all the new creatures (on other sites/forums/comment sections). Jesus, people, at least give it a month when you actually SEE more of them to make proper judgment. If you truly don't like them after that then there's always that little "x" on your video player to stop watching. I, for one, am happy that I get to see all new pokes. Brings me back to '95-'96 when I had to learn about them from scratch. Now I can live those days all over again (besides having to get up at 7am for school). Time for episode two! :D |

| I don't reall mind the fake subs, as Pokemon is quite straigh-forward; we know what's going on, the pokemon have more or less no dialouge and scenery conbined with actions are enthesised heavily. I could watch raw. Ash seems to look younger than last time? Conbined with the fact that I have watched this series on and off for twelve years, I think it's safe to say the 'Ash is in a coma' theory was indeed correct. That, or we're witnessing alternate scenarios like in the Japanese visual novels. Funny, I still say to this day; everybody but Ash know's his mum and Proffessor Oak are at it. :P The new pokemon are quite cheap looking; bland, familiar, as if production are running out of ideas. Just the starters alone (especially that grass one?) failed, let alone those featured at the start. Still, this won't stop me from buying the new game. :P One thing that dissapointed me was the introduction of yet another token; aloof, arrogant, obnoxious rival. |

| Wow, same problem as always when starting in a new region: - Satoshi is as childish as ever - Pikachu gets overloaded (although it made more sense now due to Zekrom) - Satoshi gets his ass kicked against a beginner (even though Pikachu is like lvl. 100) Other than that, I love the new move animations and the episode in general. =) |

Anyway, Ash was tottaly a newbie, Pikachu should've beaten Tsutarja. But the colors and visual effects are awesome. Since I only saw Kanto season, and a little of Houen, it's like being back to my 10's, but with an impressive visual increase. |

| What pisses me off is that pikachu is like level 5 again.. ~.~ Why can't they just replace Satoshi with someone else?? :/ Not that I dislike him or anything but it would have been really refreshing for once.. I actually really enjoyed this episode and if it'll get better than I might continue to watch this season.. :) Also, I don't like the new rival. He seems to be just plain boring.. :| |

| Yay, the dub started! It was hard to watch Pikachu lose after beating a Latios just a few episodes ago. I guess the fact that the milf and pilf were in the episode helped me along. |

| Wow, I haven't watched Pokemon since I was in primary school. Looks like it's still pretty much the same, except that Team Rocket/Ash got new clothes! Watching this with sub is kinda strange, I'm used to the ger dub. Also Ash lost vs a noob because Pikachu wasn't able to use lightning attacks? Don't lightning attacks suck anyway vs grass type Pokemon? |
