| So, what clan does everyone prefer? I personaly prefer the Kouga. I thought the characters in the Kouga where a lot better than that of the Iga clan. I also thought they were all killed off a bit quickly. The guy with no arms and legs was only in one episode and I thought he was incredibly kick ass. |

| (Finally! A Basilisk topic) Yeah, I wanted to see more of Jubei too. He's pretty cool for someone with no arms or legs. And his "surprise" for Tenzen? I really didn't see that coming, and it was awesome. Gah...I really can't choose. Iga have more offensive techniques and I like that but the Kouga are cool too... I'll say Iga just because most of my favorite characters are from Iga. |

| hm.. hard to chose... I'll say the best female characters are in Iga and the best male characters are in Kouga. This in overall... 'coz the best male char is actually in Iga (Tenzen IMO). Hard to pick but I think I'll also go for Iga |

| You guys are crazy. Haha. I was pure Kouga from the beginning. There was so much bad assness radiating from them. They're even bad ass in death. I mean dying standing up??!?!? That's fricken skillful. |

| yea I'm all for Kouga too, they had sweet ass characters and skills, dying standing is a proper mans way to go but Iga were cool too...Kouga all the way for me tho :) |

| I started off liking Kouga clan much more than Iga, but when i saw butterfly girls death (forgets name) i started liking the Iga clan more, also cause my fav chars from the Kouga clan were killed of in the first how many eps. But i hated Tenzen so bad, and before hairy dude died i hated his guts as well, so since i have more people i hate in Iga i'll go for Kouga.... But then again Iga stands out alot more in my mind than Kouga..... Im nutural (sp?) >,> |

| There ya go there's a neutral for you. I seriously hated Tenzen for trying to rape oboro... I never really liked any of the Iga anyway they were all bastards except oboro she's ok. |

| For the record I don't really like Tenzen.. if I was to pick my favourite character in the seires it you be Hyouma from Kouga. Which is, along with Danjo, the only characters that appealed to me in the Kouga clan, But the fact is, Tenzen is a great villain, and the fact that you hate him proves that. IMO he is also the "deepest" character in the series. And in general the characters of Iga appealed more to me personally... Akeginu, Hotarubi, Yashamaru, Oboru, Koshiru... even Nenki. This is my opinion of course... you're free to disagree :) |

| I choose Iga, mainly because I don't like Kisaragi Saemon. I really really hate that person. True, his ability is cool, but I just don't think it's justified when he kills all the cool people like Yashamaru, Hotarubi, Koshirou and Akeginu. When he disguised as Yashamaru to trick Hotarubi I really wanted to slap his face. |

| Hyouma is by far the coolest character, and Gennosuke is pretty awesome as well, so I'd pick Kouga. Iga does have the most awesome female characters though, definitely. |

| Definitely Kouga. Iga is far too villainous for my liking, with that bastard Tenzen leading them. And if I were to pick my favourite character i'd go for the master of disguise and deceit,Kisaragi Saemon ^^ I got really pissed off when he was tricked by Tenzen, although I saw that coming. Overall Kouga has also more interesting techniques. |

| I have to go with Iga. My hatred for Kisaragi Saemon ruined any hope for me siding with the Kouga. I will give him the benefit of a doubt when he started to show emotion after killing Akeginu, but most of my favorites were on the Iga side: Akeginu, Koshirou, Hotarubi, and Yashamaru. The only ones on the Kouga side I liked were: Okoi, Jyubei, and Hyouma. |

| It almost evens out. At first it was Iga because I loves Yashamaru from episode one but as the story and characters unfolded my opinion shifted back and fourth. It seems in general, I liked the females from Iga better, and the males from Kouga better. Now that it's all done I'd have to say Kouga |

| well, my favorite characters in basilisk are oboro, hotarubi, yashamaru, koshiro, hyouma, saemon, gennosuke. so its 4 vs 3, i prefer iga then. |

| This is why I love this anime: There are 2 groups against each other, there's no group that's completely right or completely wrong. It's like watching a football match, except with ninjas... and gore... and rape... and killer doujutsu... I myself am a Kouga supporter, although it was a very tough decision. |
| I think Kouga had some pretty gruesome characters (Kazamachi Shougen and Jimushi Juubei), but the other characters with the exception of those two had rather boring abilities. Hiding in surfaces, sucking blood, getting another's face...none of these looked too impressive in the anime when actually exercised. The Iga abilities on the other hand are more explicit and graphic, and look awesome when animated. My vote is for Iga. |

| kouga because of a couple of things. i just like their Powers better. i mean Kisaragi Saemon he killed you with your lovers face. that's the ninja way. i don't get why people don't like him. he is the essence of a ninja. he kills you when you least expect it. i also like Udono jousuke, we needed more of that fat bastard. another reason why i like kouga is my hatred of tenzen. |

| Neutral. The Kouga seemed to be more light-hearted while hate and evilness emanated from the Iga making them not so likeable. In fact, Iga ninjas were more interesting. As much as I hated Tenzen I admired him for being THE SOB MOFO, truly a villain to be forever remembered. There were also Koushirou, one of the best warriors of both clans. I also like Akeginu a lot. Kouga had the least impressive skills, although Gennosuke's and Hyouma's were totally owning and awesome. These two, together with Okoi are my favourites from Kouga. So I guess it's a draw and I'm neutral. |
