wanna see more chicks with shinais... too bad this episode concludes it all. hoping for second season in 2 years and i hope it would get better. i hope to see more characters development in next season because they just focused on miya miya's and tama's development in this season. not to mention that my favorite character is azuma, it's kinda disappointed lol. anyway, 8/10 from me.

After seeing the ending there might be only one conclusion: a second season is coming up ...someday...

I end up giving it a 10 - loved the series from the very beginning.

I just love School live animes where the school life is more enjoyable than mine

One of the better made anime in years. I found no period of dragging, it was consistently funny, the characters were intelligent and well-developed, and the animation had a very smooth and detailed style to it.

Excellent show. 10/10

I'm giving this an 8. I'm normally biased against comedy / slice of life shows but Bamboo Blade sort of changed my opinion to some extent. It had an excellent mix of comedy, action, drama and character development. Some of its faults include imbalanced character development (Yuuji and Azuma come into mind) and a few episodes I thought weren't that necessary (but funny still).

The ending cameos are interesting. Now I want to continue the manga (I read the manga until around episode 11 of the anime) just to see Tama's rivalry with Ura Sakaki. And I thought the part where Yuuji is practicing in silence, where a different set of clothing was very interesting. Does he change school perhaps? Or if he doesn't I wonder what the emphasis on him practicing alone is symbolising for...

Wow that ending just screams "NEW SEASON".

I really hope so.
Also WTF Dan-kun is captain. Why isn't Kirino captain anymore :(
Bamboo Blade gets a 8/10 out of me.

Also I loved the ending, in the back of my mind I had a feeling they would have two new members that where related to the guys that left but I had no idea it would be a girl and a boy that was totally different from them haha. That was a bit unexpected.

The very end with Tama and Sakaki Ura was interesting. I almost wonder if they will come out with a movie or a short OVA just about this tournament. Also for some reason seeing Yuji practicing alone with an outfit that seemed different then the rest of the team was interesting to me. I wonder if he's become much stronger.

I give the show an 8/10

Same here, although the show had its ups and downs for me it picked up at the end and i really liked it... I would watch a second season!

Such a good show, the last few episodes of the series bumped it back up to an 8/10. I think it ended well enough to not need a second season, some things are better left unruined.

This series was just all around excellent. Great characters, great story, and some great laughs. 9/10 from me.

Senior year can get extremely hectic with exams and other worries. She might not always be able to come regularly to club because of that so having the added duties of being a captain could be tough. She's still helping the club out by competing so it's all good.

The whole Blade Blaver thing reminded me of so much of the Power Rangers when i was young. the series wasnt bad but i found it a little boring from the middle towards halfway towards the end. Overall it was good 8/10

when's season 2 start? =| Tell me, now. =|

Pretty nice ending overall, they tehcnically could have ended it at episode 25 but this was nice. That shinobu girl was starting to piss me off though, and not in the good way like with miya miya xD totally didnt see it coming that they were the siblings of those 2 asshats. I feel so sorry for azuma though, what was the point in even adding her to the anime, if she never got to do/win anything. Also feel sorry for yuuji, hes so helplessly in love with tama but she'll probably never realize, lol. Was happy with the reaction from kirino to the teacher coming back, and the fact that the female teacher is with kenzaburo now still leaves the chance of him getting lucky and getting kirino after she graduates xD I was actually pretty impressed with miya's little act, had no idea she could do that. o.o; Well i guess thats all i'll say for now. Time to read the manga xD

A pleasing ending. Hope we get a second season soon (there has to be one, since they showed, who seems to be, Tama's next important opponent).
Overall, I really enjoyed this anime. Gets a big 9/10.

This turned out to be a solid slice-of-life/sports/comedy anime for me. Nothing too amazing, but the characters were very entertaining. Watching the second half of the show, the charm of it did ware off a little...and the character development wasn't the best, but still a good show overall. 7/10

Might pick up the manga in the future, or I might just wait for Season 2. There's definitely going to be one by the looks of it.

I'm glad this turned out to be pretty good. Nice slice of life/comedy anime. Ending bumped this up to a 7/10 for me since the middle episodes kind of dragged on for me. I enjoyed watching it, which is all that matters though so.

And I am most definitely looking forward to a second season.

They need to release a Blade Braver OVA or spin-off series, sort of like what Xebec did with Nadesico and Gekigangar 3.

Pretty good. I thought they kind of rush at the end. So im hearing this "Sakaki" is Tama's new rival? What her relationship with Rin? Is she badass or something?

Also i was searching up the Blade Braver and i came across an opening and ending on youtube. Whats that about?

just finished watching. enjoyed this very much.
although good things should be left as they are, i think their would be enough material for another season:
- azuma and yuuji didn't get that much attention (imo)
- two "freshmen" were introduced in the last ep
- this girl from the last scene looks very suspicious and interesting
- to me it looked like as if ishida just started his new kendo journy
- tama sensei ^.^

probably they just wanted to keep a few backdoors open in case of a new season ^.^

Wow I was never even aware that the tourmament had ended yet, slow me! XD

Good ending though, at least nothing was left up in the air like other series, I was a bit disappointing that Kojiro didn't end up with Yoshikawa. I was sort rooting for them half way into the series. Over all a nice anime, with good character chemistry and enjoyable story.

9/10 for me!

Ehhhh, I think that everything went wrong for me in the last episode. Well almost; I hated Yoshikawa for not ending up with Ishida, but it was mostly a comedy, so I shouldn't have really expected anything of that caliber. I still hate Dan-kun for bearing an unlimited amount of gifts from God, other than his physical appearance.

On another note, was there any significance to that blond with the gum at the end where it did a close-up on Ishida's fingers?

Overall 7/10, I really had to force myself to watch this...

That was the best way to end such an anime.
The interaction betweencharacters
The return of the Sensei was a great scene.

I liked the atmospere of that anime,it always felt like summer ; )
The story was nice and had good characters.
The only negative aspect of this show for me was that the main focus was only Kendo.
I would have liked it when they showed the group in other activities than Kendo.

Wow! What a heck of a ride! I loved this series to my surprise. I didn't really expect much from it... But wow... I really am impressed. The characters really made this anime. Kirino and Saya are awesome <3 The entire cast was great of course but to me those two are the most real amongst them. Also, dammit; this episode seems to be hinting on a second season but it'll be two years soon T_T

Tama-chan being lost expression.

I don't really like Kendo sport but the story and a lot of funny acts cover it up, although it took me 223days to finish coz I get bored sometimes.

It's good that Rin and Tama are still friends and rivals aswell. Haha LOL that shocked me Tama in the movie too. Azuma's entrance =).

Lol, Miya-miya's stalling.

Woah, new instructor lol braver face what the haha, I will miss Toraji if the instructor was Ishiba.

So Toyoma and Iwasa passed down there names from there sis/bro, thats good

Tama vs Sensei, Men, head strike haha
Tama vs Dad, =( so touchy

The ending was really great ep26 9/10, overall 7/10 for me
