What the hell Aoyama...that ending creeps me out a little.

I don't think he is a traitor or something but still got weird vibes about him.

I see 3 options here:

1. He has been replaced by Himiko and we'll have a failed assasination attempt
2. He's gay and will ask Midoriya's help to come out of the closet
3. He's a traitor and we'll have a failed assasination attempt

Never thought about your first option, I like that one, but would be kind or repetitive to see Himiko in every arc, so I dont think so...

So probably Aoyama is the traitor or Aoyama is the homo

Unsure if he has potential to be the traitor or not. If yes, it would be cool to see him reveal himself/see his personality make a complete 180, but I could also see this being played off as a joked next chapter.

More seriously 10/10 chapter. While we actually haven't seen him that much, Endeavour's development feels true and heartwarming. Dang, Horikoshi sensei's character design is really something.
Also, by the way he set the end of the chapter up, I'm pretty sure we'll have a comedy mini arc with Creepayoma as the main antagonist :p

And how come nobody even mentionned Inasa yet? That punch panel was hilarious. x)

Wtf is up with that ending? Surely that's not how it will be the big traitor reveal right? Either a stalker or Toga, idk.

My Hero Academia is about to get intresting again! I sadly didn't enjoy the Bakugo and Todoroko arc. I mean,I liked the development but found the chapters to be boring with to much text.

Aoyama......... I couldn't help but chuckle at last page, even though it was meant to be serious

Endeavor being softer and considerate, aoyama is the focus now.
Eri's horns being small might be a way for the author to hold back her power so it doesn't become godlike.

...that went from 0 to 100 real quick, wtf. Please don't be Toga, I can't stand her and we just saw her last arc. Also, can't believe this is the way Horikoshi is gonna reveal the traitor, so hopefully this Aoyama deal is something else. But please, be something serious, and not just some kind of joke.

The terrible exam mini arc finally came to an end. Sad to think only reason he wrote the arc was to give the spotlight to two fan favorites. A cheap way to get his popularity up after the terrible mafia arc.

At this point I'm just tired of this manga. You can tell the author cares little for his story and is only interested in appeasing his fans. Wouldn't surprise me if the whole Aoyama thing ends up being another cop out. He's done that multiple times before just to try and create some cheap drama and keep his audience interested. Even if not, I really don't care much considering how boring of a background character Aoyama is. There are much better options for a traitor. I'd like to be hopeful things would get better but considering how terrible the writing has been I'd rather not hope for something I know won't come.

I love hearing everyones theories go out of control any time a UA student does something weird. Though part of thinks this isn't a traitor, Toga or even him being gay, he might just be looking at Midoriya to see how he can improve as a hero.

I'm liking Endeavor's development here. Aoyama's acting suspicious. Could he possibly be the UA traitor?

Maybe Aoyama really is the traitor. But he doesn't know it! There is a theory about a TRACKER on his belt! And that's how the League of Villains keep tabs on 1-A! Really: at every event that they appeared in he was there. In the camping, he was even near the spot where the villains rendezvous.

There's this panel in chapter 108 in the Hero License Arc, it seems that the belt was a gift to him, some even theorize that he was quirkless (why the desire "to be equal") and the belt provided him a quirk:

and btw, lowkey best Bakugou panel. Look at his smug when Deku answers wrong.

I couldn't get enough of Camie. I want more Camie.

Endeavor seems to learn a thing or two from retired no.1 hero.

Aoyama seems suspicious. but I don't really think he's the traitor, but well, there's still 50% changes he's really the traitor because of the last page.
from what I see, I sorted some option:

1. he inspecting about Deku power or quirk, he want to know Deku secrets and how Deku could become a powerful figure at such age.
2. something to do with his conversation with Urara before, when he said "you love Deku, don't you?" when they both fighting pro hero Thirteen. maybe he wants to know if their love is mutual or not.
3. He's Toga in disguise.
4. the last page give some ambiguous statement. "until he started to show his true nature", and "at least, that man makes his move". that words give a traitor vibe, indeed.

What the fuck like I know Aoyama is weird but that was straight up creeper status at the end. I would be horrified if I saw that outside my window in the middle of the night. Looking forward to seeing the future developments with Aoyama.

Also, I liked Endeavor's scenes in this chapter. This little mini-arc with the babysitting has really allowed him to grow a bit.

So while I wait for the next update, I rewatched the first season of BnHA and I noticed something that supports the 'Aoyama is the traitor' theory. Note that out of all the first introduction shots of all 1A students, Aoyama's the only one with his face in close-up rather than half-body. While it might seem this chalks up to his...eccentric personality, perhaps it was being hinted at since the very start.

(See portion from 0:15 to 0:24 and compare everyone's intro shots with Aoyama)

Now that I watched the first OP again, he does look suspicious, as if he's looking right through at us. Hmm...

That was a pretty good chapter.

Bakugou with the point down pose had me laughing so much. XD

Endeavor being considerate and telling Todoroki he'd be a hero that Todoroki can be proud of was really nice.
Inasa punching himself and talking to Endeavor while bleeding was hilarious.

Integrals brings back memories . That intensity with which Deku was trying to find the answer was great. Too bad he was off the mark.
What's the solution to it anyway? Do you use substitution? After seeing that question I realize I need to brush on my integral skills. XD

Anyway back to main focus of the chapter, Aoyama being the traitor? It's definitely possible since we rarely ever see much of him and more often than not he's in the background and we hardly know anything about him as well. Although, it being Toga seems like the more plausible thing.
That ending. o.o

Whoa there what do we have here?

Never really cared much for Aoyama but this looks interesting.
Hoping it's something actually serious and not just the set up for some comedy 'Aoyama being just a weird creep' kinda thing...

Also that self-punch in the face was hilarious and finally no more of those kids.

I don't think Aoyama's a traitor, I think he's just being a creeper for Deku because Deku has gotten his admiration. During the training camp arc if I remember correctly, he was pretty cowardly and just hid in the bushes while stuff was going down, but did manage to get one laser blast off at the last second on Compress that gave them to opportunity to try and recover Tokoyami and Bakugou. (If he was the traitor, I would think he wouldn't have done that)

I think the events at the training camp hit him pretty hard and he's observing and trying to learn from Deku, who was pushing himself when his body was literally broken to Hell.

Or maybe not, we'll see soon enough. ^^

I nearly teared up when Endeavor told his estranged son that he's proud of him and willing to work hard to become a hero that he'll be proud of so I can only imagine how much I'd cry seeing that scene adapted in the anime. He even redeemed himself towards Yoarashi... Feels really good, man.

Aoyama's aware that Deku's the MC and considering that his overall screentime's abysmal, it looks like he decided to hack the system lmao

Midoriya's posterior narration is usually reserved for important story stuff, so I'll be surprised if whatever's going on with Aoyama turns out to be a gag. The hint certainly seems to be that he's the mole. Aoyama is one of the least developed of the supporting cast so I suppose anything is possible going forward.

So this is where the Aoyama traitor theories started?
Ngl as a manga reader, Hagakure is also equally suspicious. Her quirk is literally the best for spying.
Let's see how Horikoshi plays this.
