I've always said she is one of the best at color coordination- this layout definitely proved me right. He beautifully restyled the Kokoro Connect layout with EF: a tale of memories theme using randomly changing characters/backgrounds and even VN-inspired menu commands! With the spacious backdrops and blinking animations on the characters, it creates a warm visual novel atmosphere - making it one of my favorite layouts to view on MAL! It captures the important aspects of an ideal minimalist layout (fun and user-friendly). It was even used as an ideal example of a minimalist design on MAL's official Facebook page- a rare honor! Look closely at how colors and font are chosen and lighting and imagery are deliberately distributed to make a visually appealing layout. It has a perfect combination of animated effects, ease of use, fun and clear graphics, with a lot of room for changing the theme! Nymphiae (member cards) Does anyone out there think she can only make minimalist layouts? Well the answer to that is... She can also put out beautiful card art when she wants! Both of these show her high understanding of lighting and color. This is a critical aspect of graphic art: be sure to take notes of it!   Narushisto (member card) A finalist in the card contest, Naru has the honor of having her card personally complimented by Hahaido, one of the card design masters! You have to love the amazing bordering and genius color overlays- this is why we use the card style in our club affiliate banners! No wonder this card made finals in the card contest for 2014!  KatedaDevil (member card) Kate has created the other best animated card of this year. A brilliant card idea. The perfectly placed animations capture the spirit of the anime nicely- seeing a pattern here?  Dzikibambus (member card) One of my favorites of all time. A giant, fun, and very appealing TCG- also one of the biggest cards we've ever seen. Would be perfect to print out. I wish more ppl would make large cards like this!  Yorium (member cards) This yeah would also see the debut of Yorium, who is easily one of the greatest graphic designers in MAL history along with Hahaido and a couple others! His first cards are marvels, some of the best of the year, and show the incoming potential!   SylakentH (member cards) 2014 also saw the debut of SylakentH, one of (imo) the best card makers of all time. He won the 2014 Member Card contest with his Alice themed cards (first below).
