Was loitering in layout club and saw your list, it is by far, the best list layout I've seen, so I couldn't help to tell you that. :)

If you want my opinion, I would say that it might be better to have a larger font for the anime title.

Oh and I don't know if I replied about the blacklisting through PHP thing from earlier this year, after a lot of time and testing, I found out that its not really possible on MAL because (hard to explain) imported PHP through multiple CSS imports doesn't work for some reason. It works in Firebug Preview, but not in practice. Also, I was told by mods I can't do alot of the things I wanted to do with blacklisting lol, the only thing I can really do is reduce a list to "default settings".

Replying to the comment from a week ago about the limiting voters thing! Yes, based on what ppl have told me I've decided to do voting where designers get either more weighted votes, or separate the votes into member's favorite and designer's votes. I think it won't be too hard finding trustworthy ones, since most list designers probably aren't going to be interested in cheating imo. We all kinda know each other at this point.

Yeah, I probably wouldn't force ppl to vote for their opponents, just let them know they can. In the card contest, ppl didn't seem to mind voting for their opponents in other rounds thankfully lol.

There's quite a lot cheating in contests in forums and MAL lol. In card contest, there already have been three proven fraudulent accounts and one person attempting obvious friend stacking in round 2 which will result in their disqualification later. I've had similar problems in the past with contests. I think for the next MAL-wide list contest, "voting" should be done this way:

To determine the best list designs, many known trustworthy list/card/profile designers should be asked ahead of time to be voters. Pretty much, they'd be judges and only their votes count. If a large number was found, it would lessen any feelings that the contest is determined by only a small circle of ppl.

There can be a separate category to vote a public poll on favorite list, maybe when its at or narrowed down to less than 10 entries. This can be the "people's choice", and give every MAL user a say. What do you think? It would replace the system of public voting we have now which is problematic and imo unreliable.

Hi, you're now in loser's bracket for round 2. But don't worry! You can still make it all the way to the top if you keep winning! But if you lose this bracket, you will be eliminated from the contest. You can see all round 1 results and round 2 brackets now on the front page of our group.

Please choose your round 2 card before Sunday and let me know which one you choose, either via my profile or by updating your posts in the member card topic, or else I will pick one from what you're already posted. Its ok to use the same card from round 1 again, or to pick a new one. Its up to you! You may update it before Sunday as well.
