This is really going on the Nagisa's route. I wonder if they'll still add up Kyou or Tomoyo. But in the opening scene, there's 5 lights now. So, I think Tomoyo got her happiness and is not going to have a Tomoyo route.
Maybe, episode 20 is the past (the title said it) and 21 will be festival then the rest will be Nagisa's route till the end..
OKAY BIG SPOILER! I warn you, don't open it
that lil girl is Ushio, the daughter of Nagisa and Tomoya. They're on the other world, etc etc doing etc etc.. toot toot toot. lol! I know, you know that already ^_^
I hope they will put the story of Tomoya's father. It's a great arc.
hmm... after this, i am not expecting anything from kyoani anymore. its not hate, but just... the show doesnt show its bright things anymore (kyou and tomoyo)
most of the episode was slice of life between tomoya and nagisa. a bit of tomoyas dad, and a bit of sanae/nagisas past. not the best episode.
the comic relief was the best part of the show ( i dont enjoy the nagisa drama at all, and since kyou and tomoyo pretty much got killed off...)
best one liner ever - its really sad for a guy to lose his harem
3rd best skit in the history of clannad - sunohara's skit, i was actually looking forward to seeing them play with the keyboard a little more
also... sunohara reminded me of akira from LS at the end xD
also, yay for the girl and the junk doll
I loved how Nagisa pulled Tomoya to the teacher.. xD
but still sad episode.. I think it were nice when tomoya and his father would understand each another again.. When Tomoya was leaving it was like he was thinking of "why dont he come and say that i souldnt leave" or something like that~
Yeah, that scene brought about a good lol. Other than that it was a pretty plain episode. Anyone else think he is overreacting about his situation with his father? He stopped abusing him, but his father's really a bad person because he doesn't treat him like a son. That doesn't quite add up. Tomoya seems independent enough, does he still need that father/son relationship that desperately? I don't know, thats kind of been bothering me from the beginning.
the begginning of Nagisa's train wreck finally and this is probably the last one, I wouldn't be surprised if this was another dead girl. Well anyways, its starting slow but we'll see what the reveal is in next ep.
...and the 3d scenes feel out of place.

cyruz said: Very heartwarming episode. But after hearing Nagisa talk to Tomoya about the thing she has to apologize for, and the scene in this dream world at the end, I'm thinking that Nagisa might have had a twin sister or something along those lines? I mean, the girl in this other world does look similar to Sanae and Nagisa. Or maybe something happened when Nagisa was born, but then there would be no way for Nagisa to feel that there's something. Actually, we're talking about anime... mmh.... I got the feeling it's going to be a very, very sad story. But I'm still looking forward to it.
And yes, Nagisa was incredibly cute in this episode.
When I started watching Clannad, I thought that that "girl" from the "Dream Wolrd" was Nagisa herself.
Anyway, ~Clannad -The After Story~ anime, which is airing 13 days from the time this post was made, should explain more about that girl(Which i know is not Nagisa now), and her "Garbage Doll".
I liked this episode, like always(yes I rated all episodes 5/5).
With Tomoya staying at Nagisa's house, it will surely deepen their relationship, and by the end of episode 24, they should be more than what they are now.
By the way, Nagisa's always cute, all the time in the anime :)
I still can't understand the link between that robot made of junk and the rest of the series.. can't wait to find out. This episode it was trying to make a "friend" for him.. hmmm.. awww I can't link it at all with the series. Hmph guess I'll find out in the last episodes remaining.
I can see why Tomoya moved out, first to be loved, then to be abused, then to be ignored, it's gotta hurt. I was disappointed Fu-Chan didn't appear, her appearances crack me up, but then you can only have so many starfish jokes.

Nagisa's parents are the coolest people ever. I strongly think that Kyoto oughtta make a few episodes OVAs which shows their past and love story and how they met. I mean they're a perfect couple, perfect parents and they're hilarious!

I wanna know the secret!!!!!! Well it probably has to do with the whole not working at the middle school anymore. I bet something happen like maybe they weren't suppose to be together and then Sanae got pregnant or maybe Akio raped her.(I don't think it will be THAT bad hahaha) I bet it will be something that we never saw coming. *hopefully*
I liked this episode and the character development it brought to Tomoya, Nagisa, and Nagisa's parents. The keyboard scene was outstandingly hilarious as well. Let's see how the plot goes from here on out. I'm hoping for a good ending.
Ok, I wanted to watch this......
After Kyou-Ryou and Tomoyo's arc end in previous episode, imho one of best scenes of all anime I watch!!!! (and we are at two great scenes), we see Nagisa arc that was interrupted after firsts episodes.
I don't comment episode 18 and tomoyo and kyou-ryou's arc, I will comment them after final episode..........
Ha! There was a scene in this episode where Tomoya was at Nagisa's place and he was slumped over the table, just before Nagisa comes in to chat. That pose is just like his dad's when we see his father drunkenly slumped over the table in front of the TV! I really liked that touch!
Hmmmm....Sanae having to drop out of teaching, and Nagisa sure of something to apologise about. Could the two be related? Hmmmmmmmm..........
I wonder if they'll ever get to perform the Dango Daikozuku play before the end of the series? Another Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........................................
Without Kyou and Tomoyo things get less exciting and the plot slows down a bit. Having said that, Sunohara's sketch is pure win...The man is a born comedian. Shame the girls can't appreciate his advanced sense of humour.
“If it were a third-rate TV anime, a dead protagonist can come back to life at the producers’ convenience. But the world we live in is not such a convenient place. Lost lives will never return. Because of it, we live in a world where a life is an irreplaceable existence.”
