I started my anime watching with Speed Racer when I was around four. Didn't get into much anything until Pokemon from when I was 8 to about 10. Then, at 12 I watched FullMetal Alchemist. At the end of 8th grade my friend Emilee had me watch Fruits Basket, and I was hooked. The first anime I ever finished was Lucky*Star.

Anime/Manga Genres I love shoujo. I just plain adore shoujo. I don't consider myself much of a girly-girl, but bring on the romance and the cheese. I love it.
I love comedies. Harem comedies are okay as long as they're actually, you know, funny. I don't like innuendo much, I like slapstick and dry humour. Or just out-of-nowhere humour that makes little to no sense. And I hate shows with 100% fanservice. It's not funny.
I also love horror and psychological anime/manga. Murder mysteries, man-made biological diseases, or a simple case of someone suffering a complete mental breakdown--I love it all.
