| By the way, I just did a quick count and if JC is going to adapt just the prelims, they'll have roughly 3 chapters for each of the remaining episodes (this episode adapted up to the 5 page of chapter 46 and the prelims end at chapter 60). |

| Urara is such a cutie, I love her hairstyle so much <3 Hojo is badass, loved how she shut dem running mouths. I just want Megumi to be recognized... I bet she can make a great chef. I support her, and want her to win the tournament so bad (never happening but yeah, at least I can hope) Both Akira and Shiomi were fun to watch. I esp. like how Shiomi specializes in cooking science rather than cooking itself. That's fresh. Also, yay for some indian style cooking. Normally I wouldn't be hyped but as that's the closest thing to pakistani cuisine, so yeah I am pretty happy. Also I think that they will adapt the ping pong scene as part of some OVA. Would fit much better. |

There is around 14 chapters for the premilinary and 40 chapters for the finals. If you want it to end it will be incredibly rushed, there is 5 episode and 54 chapters left which mean 11 chapter per episode. Honestly I think it will end in the premilinary so it won't end this season. Well in another thread there is an erina vs megumi and a best girl with nikumi, erina and megumi. Erina fan are almost equal to Megumi's one so I don't think you are alone... Anyways have fun waiting for the next episode! The premilinary is quite good and one of my favorite part of the manga(only the final beat it):P |

| Ah oh man, great episode ... the Autumn Selection is finally happening :D Looks like everybody got chosen and a lot of new characters introduced ... purple-haired girl, the creepy stalker girl from the ED and Akira the spice guy! :O Jun was pretty funny lol, seems like Jounichirou seems to remember their time together quite differently XD Akira seems to be pretty cool, sharing some of his knowledge with Megumi and Souma. Plus he's in Souma's group so I'm guessing that will be his main "opponent" in the prelims :O Curry huh ... dang, I love some good curry but unfortunately I can't handle spicy food >_< Spices themselves though? Seems legit :O Really looking forward to this arc! I'm sure it'll be great :3 |
| Autumn Selection has been started, and many new characters has been introduced in just a single episode like: Hayama Akira, Houjou Miyoko, Sadatsuka Nao, and Jun Shiomi. Souma is getting hyped-up! LOL at the infinite loop of apologizing Megumi and Shiomi. That was an EPIC punch through the face to Souma! nice one Shiomi! A lot of Rivalry pops-up for Souma, that included Akira. 5/5. |

| Great to see Hayama in the anime! I've been waiting for his appearance for a while now since the manga. Anyhow, I hope JC doesn't screw up this arc bc it's quite long and we only have five episodes left. I'm pretty sure they're gonna do a second season. |

| While I like Hayama as a character and the upcoming Autumn Election, I really wish we had a character who was humble with their cooking. Because we either get characters who are way too overconfident about their cooking and then brought down by Soma or we have characters who have no faith in their cooking ala Megumi. Can't we have a nice blend of both, a humble character who can actually get along with Soma at first meeting and is an amazing cook? Alternatively Isshiki, you could show us some of your cooking. |

| And the Autumn Election arc begins 😁 A lot of new characters introduced in this episode. Looking forward to seeing them all fleshed out as this arc goes on. Stalker girl reminds me of the little girl from Corpse Party though 😰 I wanna see what Souma does to beat Hayama at his own dish. It's always exciting to see the ideas that Souma comes up with. |

| Since he began to circulate the second opening and ending of the TV series, I avoided looking at it because they were too obvious advances on new characters; Now I can look at them without problems, are "sprung" all at once the new faces. LOL Certainly we will not be bored in this episode, after the end of the previous episode, is another good reason to raise expectations in the light of the upcoming episodes. Very amusing and informative narration, saw the trick the father of Soma and all the explanations given on spices. I hope that will give us a chance in the next few episodes viewers to learn more about and appreciate the new and old characters; are all interesting, it would be a shame to let their prerogatives are anonymous character. |

| The theme is Curry. As we saw Souma doesn't have any experience at this. The new rival Hayama seems like a strong opponent. This will be exciting if these two encounter each other at the fall elections. This 34 year old teacher looks like 17 O.o LOL that punch in Soumas face was an absolute K.O. :D And this black haired girl who stalked Erina looked creepy af. :o |
