| I find all this to be very superficial details. Both Medabots, Pokemon and Digimon are 'kid and his cool pet' stories, but the way they do it very different. Pokemon is Being the Best. Medabots goes the same way (until it goes off to philosphize about weaponrry) while Digimon is a monomyth about saving the world. Both Agumon and Charmander look simlar. All the main buddies are yellow (Pikachu, Metabee and Agumon) but the stories function very differently. |

| No, you're just confused. Dragon Ball and HxH have similarities and literally hundreds of animes do, so going out to claim It is a rip off? HxH is HxH and DB is DB. In my opinion HxH is dragon ball done better. I'd re-watch HxH 10 times before I re-watch DB. It is just that much better. Plus i thought it was already known togashi was influenced by DB |
