 Toei Animation Europe announced that a second season of Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon: Crystal (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: Crystal) is planned to start this Summer after the season's finale on July 18. It is currently unknown how many episodes the second season will have.Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon is a classic bishoujo manga from the '90s and was adapted into several anime series. The new series, based on the manga, started streaming on Nico Live in Summer 2014 bi-weekly and is currently airing on TV as of April 1. | No thanks. I dropped the show at 13 already, most boring magical girl show I ever watched. The 90's TV shows on the other are still great so I'd rather rewatch those now that Viz is releasing it. |

| Oh well I'll finish the first season and am sort of pumped for the second because it has mai waifu Hotaru, canon yuri Michiru and Haruka, and time traveler Setsuna <3. But the animation is still cancerous. |

Seiya had -such- personality in the anime!) Yup, exactly my feelings. Megumi Ogata did AMAZING job as Haruka - she may seem manly, but actually very sensitive and femine inside. I didn't hate her manga version, but imo she lacked... something. It's tough to say what exactly though. I definitely disliked how she was drawn from time to time like a man, and then completely differently, as a woman who wears skirts unbuttoned shirts :/ I hope at least this won't happen in the remake... Ofc same with Seiya, I don't even mind him being a girl, but character-wise she wasn't really interesting, nor did she had any remarkable moments with Usagi :/ |

 Oh yes. Bring it on. And those relentlessly ripping on the show have obviously not been keeping up as the quality has definitely gotten much better imo. The BDs are also a huge improvement as well (obviously). |
