| I'm wondering if this'll be like SAC. In that, there's the original, but then there's the TV version with an entirely different storyline. Because I really don't want this to be Arise, just cut up into multiple episodes. I still have to finish Arise. |
| I don't mind the storytelling in the new episodes but they lack the grittiness and dirtiness of the original film. I am not sure why they decided to change the environment so heavily for the SAC and Arise series, but I was pretty disappointed. |

For now, the culprit is continuity - the fact that arise precedes sac yet is unrelated. I see one, continuous plot. What homage, reference, or storyline indicates otherwise? |

| News Update The official site was updated today to indicate that Ghost in the Shell: Arise will broadcast under the title Ghost in the Shell Arise - Alternative Architecture. The series will air starting April 5 as a recompilation of the movies for TV broadcast (totaling 8 episodes) with two additional episodes of original content.
