| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Hawk :3 It was alright for the first episode. The OST was easily recognizable but I'm hoping they play the OP song next time. Oh Meliodas, you and your curiosity. I spotted some posters of the Seven Deadly Sins. Kinda curious to see how many of them make appearances in this adaptation with 2 cour. But seriously, I think Hawk is an awesome pig. The OP song was good imo. OST comes out on Christmas Eve. |

| 10 years after, huh. KajiKaji's character owns a shop, huh. And broken sword. The drawings of the 7 sins look so different. A lady (princess) with armor searching for 7 sins appeared, followed by a team (Holy Knights) because they are making the kingdom destroyed. lol @ the womanizers, but he always save her. AND STRONG!! Like the legend said. OP as ED this ep. It's nice, and I look forward to ED. Oh, so he opened the shop (and move around) to gather info. about other members. LOL @ the chibi form in preview, so cute! |

| Considering I've read the manga, and own the volume I could just watch the raw.... but I'll wait and see if C.R got it or not. Not lookin good. Anyone who read the manga does this look like a proper adaptation? No rushing? |

| Solid first episode. Meliodas is the man and Elizabeth seems to be well "equipped" to be his new trusty companion. All's fair in love/groping and war as Meliodas seems to have a sixth sense for when to get his opai grab on. This screams Fairy Tail at first with the talking pig, character designs and general story setup. However, I like the animation, soundtrack and characters so far. Having never read the manga, I'll keep up with this one for sure. |

| 5 main aspects I base my ratings on: 1. Did DramaEnthusiast make a thread about it? 2. Is it better than Breaking Bad? 3. Did MellowJello recommend the shit out of it? 4. Has it caused a (very entertaining) shitstorm on MAL? 5. Is it actually good? Scratch the fifth point, it's not very relevant... |

Well that didn't help at all. "its highly rated and popular" mmk. Considering no one else has it I'm guessing the only explanation is... Netflix. Unless someone decides to fansub it. |

| I just watched....(ironically i get subbed version in portuguese, before English version, i don't now how he does that xD). AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Perfectly adapted from the manga, detailed... just how. Somes animes produces have to learn from this.....(right Tokyo Ghoul? ¬¬) |
| Not bad. Not bad at all :) I still think Yuki Kaiji's voice is still a bit too deep for Meliodas' character, but I'm getting used to it. The animation's great, the Sawano soundtrack is not obnoxiously loud or overwhelming and fits pretty well with the anime, and overall the show succeeds in conveying the same excitement I got from reading the manga. Looking forward to this series :) |

| Just watched a subbed version, but thankfully I'm current with the manga so I knew what to expect anyway. I definitely enjoy the art and most of the voices sound good. Hawk sounds more feminine than I expected. I am wondering how far in the story they'll get with 24 episodes. |
| This was a good episode. Meliodas is a really cool character. He is always looking for that chance to grab Elizabeth's boobs and it's like she doesn't mind it either lol. Can't wait for the next episode. |

| I'm trying to convince some of my fellow some-stuffs people to sub this with me. I read the first few chapters of the manga and watched the raw of episode 1 and I was totally blown away. This is an anime that deserves to be subbed ASAP. |
| Even though i really enjoy the manga.. this 1st ep was ok in terms of content... but the art was beyond meh..... dont know if ill keep watching for long but i'd recommend the manga to everyone. from what we saw (imo) manga >> anime 6/10 |
