| It wasn't totally attention-grabbing for me except for the character designs which I really like. The music was noticeably good. But I didn't really like the 3D, reminds me a bit of Tokyo Ravens...other than that, the setting seems interesting, and I can see myself liking it more later on. Herman is one cool dude, and his interactions with his son Leon is pretty fun. |

| Another pretty great series with lots of potential :O Mappa's on a role!! Loving the Father and Son combo. They're both BA! Leon and Zoro? Nice names too :3 But really what's with this season's anime and Manservice lol. Lot's of naked Ripped guys XD Quite some hot action too (I mean it both ways) :3 |

So Leon isn't the same as the main TV show Garo holders, but with this being a prequel, he could either be an ancestor to Kouga (the main Garo knight in the TV series up to the 3rd season) or just someone who ends up passing on the armor. :D Cool, that's even better. | I really liked this episode, the overall feel from the anime reminds me of Berserk (further into the manga). I really liked Herman's armor, but the golden one didn't look as good - personal preference I guess. I have mixed feelings about the mixture of 2D and 3D, or whatever you call it. It seems like nowadays anime are trying to push this trend, but do people really find it enjoyable? Perhaps it's just me again. Other than that, everything was interesting and the combat was very well animated! I liked Herman's character, but I'm not sure about Leon. He seems like your typical silent character bent on revenge, at least judging from this episode. I'll definitely come back for more. |

| An anime that is entirely focused on how badass the characters look in their armor! I like it. A father and son duo is inevitable! Like most other CG anime (in this case, CG during action scenes, battles, etc) I can definitely handle after watching a few episodes or so. |

| Only real watched because JAM Project did the opening. Doesn't seem so bad, if it wasn't for the armor being done in cgi, which is not my favorite thing. |

| Lol. Looks like they spent all of their budget on the 3D CGI, and left little to none for everything else. That opening was practically colored storyboards. Wish they had made it all more consistent. The contrast between the the game-quality 3D models to the drawn frames looks like a child's doodles. Well, at least the action is decent, so I'll continue to watch it. |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

| I'm not exactly familiar with the GARO franchise but man for sure the first episode piqued my interest! and that OP animation is just GODLY! It looks like something that is directed by Maasaki Yuasa.. And finally, we see a guy with chest and pubic hair in anime! Delicious ♥ |
| I liked the episode aside the CGI-fight. Why? Why didn't they draw it? It doesn't fit with the style and doesn't look too good. And they will focus on it, oh God... But maybe the designs of the teen protags won't sit well with me, so I'll drop it for another reason. It would be a pity though, since the world is interesting, the political intrigue seems promising and the artstyle is at least unusual. |

| Father and Son combo. Not exactly my cup of tea at the moment, but the story was quite interesting. Good start, especially the action. Maybe the following episodes are better than the this one. |
| 4/5 Episode intriguing, very nice armor, maybe the CG is a little smoother, but seeing them in action is veeery nice. Plot that convinced me immediately, engaging narration, I hope to go with the best TV series of episodes. the opening is quite original. The Character Design may not like it, but it did not bother me that much. For now, my vote is 6/10! |

| I'm just passing by to say that both Funimation and MAL have their last names wrong. It's not Lewis since they're obviously from Spain, and Luis (not "Luís") is a first name. It should be Ruiz. EDIT: It seems Luis is an actual last name. I've certainly never heard of it (though I've heard of other given names used as surnames) and Ruiz is just much more common. I guess if the actual creators actually said it's Luis, then it's Luis, though. Other little errors on MAL: It should be Germán, not Herman. Likewise, it should be San Variante, not Saint. (Variante itself is not an actual name as far as I know, but that's just the name of the kingdom, it seems, and it's correctly written as a word, so that's alright.) It's also "León", not just Leon (but maybe that's too much). It must seem like nitpicking, but it just bugged me. |

| Germán Luis & León Luis are both acceptable Spanish names. Because, yeah, the story happens to be set up in some alternative Spain country. And yeah the name Lewis is everything but an acceptable Spanish name. As for Luis, it is very ok. And the first Spanish subs didn't translate correctly their proper language. How weird. (yes I saw both ESP & ENG subs, bcs I understand both languages and live in Spain for now) |
| Quite interesting with no experiences or knowledge of the original franchise. Some of the scenes with CG seems really out of place and did quite bother me by quite a bit since I am not the biggest fan of CG. Otherwise, I'll try to bear with the CG and hopefully get a really good watch from this season with this anime (along with other anime but I'm jus sayin). I will be tuning in next week to see whassup with our "heroes". |
