You really do make it your business to review every classic mecha anime out there (^^). Just skimmed through your Macross review but didn't wanna delve to deep into it, since I'm watching the series so far. Lets just hope it's as good as you say it is.

I saw your clips on youtube about the flight delays (man, you were unlucky man, with you job and stuff, I don't think you could sue them because they probably have a very thick book with general conditions). The other clip I saw was of you walking in the Hiroshima park, it must be something to walk there. BTW, are you in Japan for vacation or for a Job and stuff?

Great reviews, I'm a little curious how you managed to watch the original Tekkaman series though? Maybe you watched it raw, know Japanese, or know of some subs for it that must be really obscure (all I know is that ILA has subbed the first three episodes and it looks to be a very slow project).
Really good review on Tekkaman Blade, I pretty much agreed with everything there. Especially the development of the characters, there were many I didn't like at first but pretty much all of them came around by the end and were great characters, I liked that a lot. It's a shame too many people seem to write off mecha as silly stuff, when it's probably one of the most serious genres out there.
