| Another nice anime really enjoyed it. And if anything i think everyone here learned to count to eight in Japanese now. It was really nice to see the girl bond like that while dancing Yosakoi and it was nice to see how serious Yosakoi is for those who take part in it. It really looked like everyone was having fun and trying very hard for it. Which was nice. |

| I went into Hanayamata with high expectations and no idea what it was about, purely because it was a Madhouse production directed by Ishizuka Atsuko (Sakurasou, NGNL), It didn't live up to either, and in that sense it was a bit disappointing. It makes me think that the supporting staff played a larger role in the quality of those other shows than the director did. I still think she's incredible at evoking emotion and meaning in storytelling, and maybe the nature of the material played a part. But regardless, to judge the show by its own merits. It was a lot of fun to watch every week. The production levels were fantastic as always, and it was nice to watch something innocent and fun, even the inserted drama from the dreaded "member has to suddenly move/can't make it for final performance" trope was resolved fairly well. A very solid 7/10. Would be great to see more sometime in the future. |

 Naru really shined throughout the series definitely my favorite girl. Even if I expected the ending, the execution to the finale was so pretty that I'm actually going to miss this show like I did for K-on. Overall a great series for such a "simple" show and I have to thank madhouse for that. |

| This show was a pleasant surprise, it looked like another CGDCT anime but in the end it had some decent character development. It may have been a little melodramatic at times but I think melodrama is alright for a bunch of teenage girls. Other than that the visuals were consistently very good and the music was fantastic, I absolutely love the OP. I'd definitely watch another season, if only to pray for my OTP of Aniki x Sally-chan-sensei to officially set sail. Overall a pretty solid show, far better than I was expecting. |

| Wow! What a ride of an anime......a cute and adorable one as well~! :3 We had our cute moments....sad moments....happy moments....all jumbled onto this beautiful anime! The artwork was amazing....characters were lovable, and I just liked the whole anime itself!! OH! And that last episode, what a finale! Hana actually came back to Japan and danced at the festival with all her friends! So awesome and adorable~~ I think it's safe to say that this was the cutest anime of the season? owo I hope....but it's too bad it's over now.... No more cute girls dancing Yosakoi.... :( It ended really well though, and I enjoyed every episode! :3 |

| Easy 9/10! There was cute girls being cute, but also some plot, character development and other good things which are not expected in a "fluffy" show! The last few episodes seemed rushed, but I can't complain. Hope for season 2! 12 more episodes just like these, please! |
| Now THAT was what I wanted from the entire show. Dazzling, sparkles, happy emotions and that touch of drama. Knew that Hana was going to make a last minute appearance, and it worked! Saw a bit of her freerunning as she tried to get to the festival. But I LOVED the dance. The fireworks in the back, the dazzling atmosphere, it fit perfectly. And the umbrellas were a nice little extra too! |

| Well this episode was sure pretty to watch glad she made it back in time loved Hanayamata while it didn't do anything insane it kept me interested the whole time and had some actually decent character development for each of the characters each being likeable in their own ways while the the voices and over use of blushing might of taken sometime to get used to i really hope this gets a Season 2,as far as i know there's a game coming out so that's a plus 7.5/10 for Big bro and Sally having a moment! |

| GOOD ENDING! I loved the OP and ED of this show. I often found myself humming them while at work or while reading. I know this is a one off show, but I would NOT complain should an OVA or even a season 2 were to roll out. This was my "drown in the cuteness" show of this season. I'm going to miss it. Like really really miss it. i wish there was a a better scoring system here, cause id give it an 8.8/10. A nice, happy, cute fest that keeps you smiling and your spirits high. |

I had a bunch of anime to watch this season but this was the only one I ended up picking up and following the whole way through after marathoning the first six or seven in a day. As you might expect, I enjoyed this show thoroughly and a second season would be pleasant news, although they did well with this season already and ending it here wouldn't be bad either. The visuals were very pretty, which I guess is expected since this comes from Madhouse. I wish they showed us more of the dancing, though. But for a show that comes off outright as moe girls doing cute things, the character development was overall well-done, especially for Naru and Yaya and not quite as much for Tami. I have no comment on the melodrama mostly because I didn't mind it; it seems normal for a group of teenagers, and it was integrated into the ongoing plotline fairly smoothly. I would give it around an 8.5. But I'll round it up. It was well worth the watch(and the half an hour of homework time I just lost watching episode 12), and I will look back at this show fondly. |
| Emotional scene when Hana was getting onto the stage. So many dramatic feels this show, but I still loved it. Tami-chan will forever be best girl. Show was a solid 8-9/10 for me. Would definitely love a second season at some point. |
| Easy 9 for me. This episode ended very nicely. We get closure in the way that if it ends with just one season will be ok with it, but if a second season was to be announced we would all be happy. I always enjoy moe animes. Last season was is the order a rabbit this season was hanayamata :) can't wait to see if fall season will have a moe anime. Thank you Hanayamta |

| Very nice conclusion. I only wished I could've seen more of the dance though. Nevertheless, this episode was full of feels ( I had to hold my tears in ). Good show. |

| You know what I don't even care that I didn't get to see a full version of them dancing because my vision was already blurry... I knew Hana was coming and she'll be able to dance with the girls but damn it, it still touched my heart and the sight of them dancing on stage was so beautiful T___T And that OP...that song...this season had a lot of awesome opening songs but this one just really stuck to me. Anyone else thought of the cop looked like the wandering beach guy from Ping Pong? I'd like to think that was him XD! Also, the real winner of this season was no doubt Aniki Sea Monk. 8/10. |

| OH NO!!! My Anime of the mondays is gone :C TwT was very good the series, in 12 episodes they wre able to delevop the yosakoi club members very well, the fact that they were building the OP was cool, and talking about the OP, IT WAS SOO GOOD! really wanting to sing & dance with it! The ending was very good, even if the productors was short in time, in fact all the problems are solved at time! I enjoy it so much the serie in general, so gonna give it a good 9/10 as score |

| What a great ending to the show! I am so happy that Hana made it in time to dance with them! Their dance was amazing and they wow'd the crowd even though there were only 5 members in their group! 9/10 overall score from me! My Monday animes are over and it was a very emotional day with the endings. Really hope that this one gets another season some day! |

| This episode made up for the past couple of episodes, the dancing was beautiful, definitely the best part. I'll be honest, I didnt want Hana to come back at first because I didnt want to hear her annoying voice, but I am glad that she did because that made it way better than I expected. This episode def bumped the score up a bit, 7/10 :D |

| Well that was a pretty perfect ending! Like others have said I'd love a second season, but this wrapped up quite nicely. Overall, I adored this show. It has beautiful animation, and some very nice character designs. The plot isn't always the most original, but the series pulls it off with aplomb, which is very impressive considering some tropes are as old as dirt. I give the series a 9/10, I'm definitely going to miss it. Who knew I could get so emotional over dancing middle schoolers? |

| This episode is simple amazing. Oh my gosh, I caaaan't 8/10. One of underrated anime this season (mainly because of the score). I wish that they showed the whole yosakoi dance despite Hana catching up in the stage. I don't mind for a second season :D |

| Was nervous the entire way through. Thought she wouldn't make it the entire time. The leadup to the performance was epic. I smiled and fist pumped the entire time. My wife caught me and gave me the "your a dumbass look". All in all, 9/10. |
