 A spin-off anime of Wake Up, Girls!, titled Wake Up, Girl Zoo!, has been announced. The title is a pun on the original title, with the plural "Girls (ガールズ)" changed into "Girl Zoo (がーる ZOO)." As this suggests, the original Wake Up, Girls! cast are dressed up as animals.
