| Just started watching Letter Bee, the sky made is so beautiful but at the same time kinda sad. About this episode, it was cute Niche and Lag's interaction. I'm hoping he picks her up. |

| Hmm wasn't too sure at first, but it is endearing and growing on me. All the better episode without the CGI insects which look out of place. The backgrounds and the skies look very beautiful, and there was good off-beat humour in this episode. Introducing a spunky loli always helps as well xD Congrats to Lag for being a lead I rather like (particularly as he has now grown a bit) 4/5 |

| The underpants thing lol when I first read that in the manga it was sooo funny xD Seems like it went quicker than it did in the manga though. Next episode is some Niche backstory I think =3 |
| I was wondering why it was always nighttime. I actually like the concept, this atmosphere feels all the more surreal when they're constantly under the starry sky. I really liked the farewell from the town. It was brief but I got the sense that it was an endearing group of people. "You are the first man who has ever made me wear underwear." Niche is a riot of randomness, already liking her. Blushing over being called pretty was hilariously adorable. Hoping she turns out to be Lag's dingo, I want to see more of her. |

| I'm probably just repeating myself at this point, but this whole thing about Niche habitually not wearing underwear is just weird. I mean, by itself it would have been fine, it was the way it was presented that was awkward. Smells a bit like otaku pandering, and stuff like this kind of undermines the otherwise dark mood. Well, it was innocent enough, and it was just the first time for anything like this, so I'm chill for now. Anyways, I thought the time-skip was handled fairly well, and apart from the underwear shenanigans, the humor was okay. Lag seems to still be pretty sensitive and naive, but I don't really mind, he is only 12 after all. What's neat about him is that he's also empathetic, and I wonder how he'll adapt to survive in the gloomy world of Amberground. Surely, he won't be able to help everyone. It's implied that Niche will become Lag's dingo. I wonder if she's really just a normal human, and what the real reason is for why she was in the adoption system. |
