you only read a single page? it gets soo much better, 1 page hardly tells you anything!

hmm, i'm tempted to say Peach Girl, but Ranma 1/2 is a hot contender too as they both do the same things over and over again during their entire run. It was fun, once, maybe twice, three times? You're pushing it.

Pastel.

Now I've read a lot of dreadfully repetitive and slow young romance comedies before, but this has blown away the competition in giving the least initiative to read the next chapter or even page.

Quite a number, but since they're so boring I can't even remember them. But one has to be Bloody Cross.

Pichi Pitchi Pit or whatever it's called, and some other boring, plain and simple shonen and shoujo stuff (see my list with dropped mangas).

You can't speak much of a story there, Blame! is more about atmosphere and style.

Death Note is epic. But perhaps not your kinda favourite manga.

It's epic for you and a lot of people, I know. For me it's more of an epic fail.
Well, indeed, I hate the kind of story (not only manga) where the author states that his characters are so very intelligent, because he generally fails to prove it. Characters in death note are not being intelligent. The author is only pretending that, by making up a ridiculously complicated plot and stating how his super-human characters have solved everything / predicted everything from the start.
I'm aware that most people disagree with me. They probably thought the plot or the L and Light dudes were intelligent. Good for them, they enjoyed it, that's what counts, right? For me it fails miserably at what it pretends to do.

Death note for me as well, sort of.
I completed it and enjoyed it but I think they dragged the story out a bit TOO much. It ought to have stopped sooner.

But I've never really disliked any manga I read so it's kind of hard for me to choose a 'most boring' one.

How could I forget this one? There's a reason I read it twice without realizing it from the public libraries, and neither time left a horribly strong impression on me and I forgot what happened both times nearly instantaneously. Well, the last time made me remember "don't read this again" basically.

Bleach was good at first, but later on (especially the current chapters) it becomes boring.

I agree. Sadly I bought the whole collection book thing (?) and it was so bad. That was the first thing i've read from CLAMP. Possibly the last.

I'll admit I liked Cardcaptor Sakura, but I'm not a huge CLAMP fan, it's the only thing by them I own and I find to be mostly overrated and boring when it comes right down to it for me. I'm just glad I didn't buy it, thank you, library! I don't blame you if Clover turns you off CLAMP for good, I don't think there's much you're missing, but I'm sure the Tsubasa/xxxHolic fans are going to march in here and disagree.

The Yellow Book - A Friend Named Jacques Thibault
it took me a whole month to read that one single volume. -_-"
I've just kept telling to myself "you can do it! it's just one volume! you read like 40 volumes of One Piece, so you can read this one".

Wallflower for me, got to around like chapter 12, it was pretty funny, but it seemed like it just kept doing the same thing over and over again didn't feel like reading 90+ more chapters at 30+ pages each, just to wait till some thing major developed. Not to mention the art was not in the least bit exciting, the environments where either completely blank or they looked like the characters where always surrounded by a white mist. Not to mention the main girl was like drawn as a super simple undetailed blob thing with long hair. Like maybe 1 page out of the entire chapter she was maybe drawn in full detail and most of the time it was just from the shoulders up, rarely did we get a full body shot. Also I had alot fo trouble telling like 2 of the boys apart, they both had the same face but with slightly different hair dues, basically the art style showed very little skill at all. And the characters are all cliche and shallow, they're about as deep as toilet paper.
It doesn't think, it doesn't feel, it doesn't laugh or cry..... All it does from dusk till dawn is make the soldiers die.

Skip Beat - I made it to around chapter 15 then dropped it. The art was horrible and the story was just so boring and lame.

Cain Saga - It was sort of interesting, but the chapters were getting too long for me and ending up being a drag.

Gakuen Heaven - FUCK THIS.

Those tended to fail. Among others.

Until the Varia arc, Katekyo Hitman Reborn! - then it became exciting.

I am having a hard time finishing InuYasha because it tends to be very repetitive.

One of the most boring I've read is probably Sketchbook. The humor is very bland. Perhaps that's not the point of the manga, but it's still not my style.

Another boring one I've read is Naruto. I can't say I liked the characters or the story very much.

Another boring one I've read is Girls Saurus. Ecchi after ecchi, it was just boring and stupid.

A lot ! But, most boring manga I actually READ was Fall In Love Like A Comic. My friends really seemed to like it so I tried reading it. I thought it was boring from the start but I thought it would get better so I kept reading it. It sucked, it was a waste of time. Well at least I know not to read the sequel.

Sure. The art was nice. But it was damn hard to see/understand what was going on half of the time.
I still finished it though, and I didn't think it was bad.

I fail to see how Naruto or Bleach, stories that thrive off long, drawn out fights, can be 'boring' at first glance.

Don't recommend me something that is still publishing, unless its close to being finished. Don't recommend me anything that isn't licensed.
