About Me
I am a 20 some year old who recently graduated from college and is working in South Korea as an English teacher. I work with Elementary and Middle school kids. My job is tiring and frustrating, but the experience of living in a foreign country on my own is out of this world.
My interests lie mostly with videogames these days, though I'm a huge anime/manga fan as well. I study Japanese using manga and anime as a medium in which to expand my vocabulary and grammar. Recently I have also started to learn some Korean.
As far as beliefs go, I am Christian Protestant. Got a problem with that? Too bad. XD
Friending Notes
I like meeting new people, so I don't mind getting friended, but please don't friend just for the sake of having more people on your friends list. In addition, I'm happy to friend you back, but only if we really have something in common. So please keep that in mind.

Play Tales of Graces yet? It's just about as long as Vesperia. If not, then shorter.

It's something I wish I did more of, let me tell ya! But that's good for you guys, keeps ya in shape!
No oven, but surely they must provide you with some sort of method to cook your food. Not even a microwave? I guess if worse came to worse you could always put your food in the sun to heat up! XD I kid. Well at least you have a decent way to get your laundry clean, some places don't even have that.
So, any new developments as of late (what's up in other words)?

Yeah I could imagine, though it seems as if some people are still crazy enough to ride their bikes around this time of year (I have seen them). I would guess that good old fashion walking would be more common place there? Guess that's the reason why most are so slim. Wish I had the will power to do that, though my town is much more spread out.
Yeah that's pretty much what I assumed you would do with your laundry. Hmmm, how about putting them close to the oven while its on? They use to do hat back in the old days. Though I don't know if you happen to have an oven where you live. Just an idea anyway.

Are cars a popular way of traveling in Japan...errr...Korea? I always had this picture that many either walked or would ride their bikes. Much like New York I guess.
Really, so you have to leave your clothes hanging inside. That must really bit, not to mention it must take them forever to dry. I always thought that maybe they would put the clothes outside in front of their window or something.
Yeah I can see that. I don't mind washing dishes personally. But having a large family, and having to dry and put them away, would really be cumbersome. I tend to break my breakable dishes here at home from time to time. Sometimes I wonder if I would be better off buying carpet for my kitchen. XD

Oh yeah, my bad. I kept thinking for some odd reason that you lived in Japan. So when you say that finding popular things in Japan isn't easy, is it because they are always being taken right away by their popularity? I kind of always assumed that most things there were easy to find. I never even heard of some of the places you mentioned, guess I was a n00b after all. Now I can learn a thing or two from you.
Tokyo seems like a nice place, and I am sure the view from Tokyo Tower is awesome. Be sure to take many pictures as souvenirs. If you don't mind me asking, are you planning on living in Korea for good, or only temporary?
No dryer either...hmmm...do you like living like that? Me personally, I wouldn't mind it. I always wanted to live in a nice house in the more country parts of my town. Farm lands and the like.
Man, so many games so little time. If I were there, I would snatch up my copy of Fatal Frame 4 in a second. XD
Oh and...
Stay safe my friend!

Well the reason I ask, is because so many anime watchers want to visit that place, me included. But I guess when it comes right down to it, it's still just another country like all the others. It must be nice to get your hands on "Japan Only" games though. Do they really not use dishwashers in Japan? I ordered some glasses from there once, and the salesmen told me that.
Completely understandable, going to a nice restaurant is no fun alone. I don't usually go to fancy places myself. Only what is considered "better quality restaurants" I guess. It's not fancy, but then it's not fast food either. Such places for me are "Pelicans and Chilie's". I was quite upset when they stoped served the "awesome blossom" there. I loved that thing!

Korea and the USA--yes I would agree that they aren't exactly driving distance from each other...not even using the freeway! XD
Even still, it must be cool to live in Japan. Are you liking it there so far?
Well, McDonalds might not be the most elegant way to spend Christmas. But hey, it beats not doing anything on it at all. :)

Far away? Oh, I take it out of town then. Sorry to hear you couldn't spend time with them this year. If you don't mind me asking, what did you end up doing for it? If it's too personal, it's cool.
I got the pic from someone's blog, and that is exactly where they said it was from. Looks neat, wish I had one.

Mine? Hmmm in all truth I really don't know what language it may be. I received it when I was very small. I wonder if there would be a way to find out? Hmmm...
But yeah, chances are our's differ from one another. I remember when I first learned the story behind tongues, it made me wonder how it could be God's language, yet also be a commonly spoken one. Then I thought: "well, God did create all the languages after all, therefor all languages are his own".
Isn't that neat? :)
How did your Christmas go? We had a great one here, even if my Grandparents couldn't make it.
So your brother's kids are right handed eh? Then you will need to get on him, and tell him that his next kid better be a lefty or else! Ha, I kid. I guess it makes sense though, after all, only 10% of the population actually is left handed. Guess it takes more than genetics to get around that.
By the way, I thought you might find this interesting:

MidnightCheddar | 12-24-09, 8:49 AM
Ah so then being a lefty is just something common in your house hold. I guess that means that your children and their children will most likely come out this way. Awesome, we need more lefties in the community!
Well, according to the word:
Acts 2: When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
1 Corinthians - 13: If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
...end quote...
Speaking in tongues from what I understand, is actually God's heavenly language that the Holy Spirit puts in us. But at the same time it is actually a language that came from the Tower of Babble. Because I know in scripture when certain people were speaking in tongues, others who happened to speak that same language, said: " We understand them, and know they are praising God".
Oh and by the way, I wish you and your family a very...

Yup, I am a lefty. My family likes to tease me, and say I do things backwards. Although it was a bit odd that I turned out to be left handed, as nobody in my family actually is. Are lefties common in your family?
Yeah I have noticed the same things regarding the forums...particularly in the general discussion one. It seems like topics are always being made about life, such as:
What's your religion?
Define happiness
What's your reason for living?
Atheist to theist scale
How to Atheist feel about Christmas?
and so on...
By the way, I have been meaning to ask you Feder, when did you get saved? For me, it was when I was around 7 years old. I received the gift of tongues shortly there after.
