In terms of enjoyment alone, I enjoyed the first episode of part 3, more than the entirety of Jojo (2012) I don't like the 4 cour announcement though. I feel I would be exhausted of Jojo by the time they reach Dio. |

| I feel like most negativity towards "early part 3" is due to people not taking well to Jotaro being completely different from Joseph (fair enough) and the introduction of Stands not being exactly smooth while people were used to the HnK fights. Emperor and Hanged Man, Empress, Justice, Lovers, Death 13... these fights are completely legit though and nothing to look down on, even in the grand scheme of Stand encounters from all parts. I feel like pretty much every single fight in the entirety of part 3 is memorable, something I wouldn't say for every part. Clearly the Egypt fights are supposed to ramp up and make things even more intense however, I'm not saying otherwise. Araki definitely clicks the intensity dial after they get to Egypt and it becomes truly great, but it's still good stuff before that. |

Maybe it depends on what version you read, but all the OH NOs from the past few episodes are from the manga pretty much panel for panel. The Viz translation includes them as well (at least for these past 2 episodes, obviously I didn't comb through both versions of the entire manga before posting). They aren't included in the image brianwuzhere posted probably because when he says OH NO in the manga it's spelled in kana as "オノ" or "おの" instead of the stylized English bubble text. It is done this way in Battle Tendency as well. This is probably also why people think of OH MY GOD over OH NO since everyone is very well familiar with those images being posted all the time, OH NO in kana doesn't look very funny. That said, I don't think I'm ready for "HOLY SHIIIT!" |
