| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- 90s sound effects and Nakata Jouji? Muscle INCOMPARABLE~!! Oh lord, eight-virtue noodles. That's fantastic. Confucius would be so proud. INCOMPARABLY VIRTUOUS. That recycled spin. That classic SFX. This show is great. (So, apparently Mei Lin didn't toss the rock in the manga. I take back my small spite.) Looks like Fei is going to be the 'arrogant' type. 4/5 done, but lucky for Mao, he's the MC. That really was a huge piece of incense. GOMU GOMU NO NOODLE. MADA MADA. NAKAMA NOODLE POWER. Su Shi noodles?!? Time is indeed worth more than gold, and Mao's squandered it! Cliffhanger again, that's just cruel. |

| Fei's dance to stretch his noodles, turning them into something like silk, was beautiful. So he was kind to Mao because he is a pupil of his mother. What a difference from that Shou An guy. But welp, this had to be a lot of pressure, and it was insufferable to see some guys who had already given up, laughing at Mao and saying that he was going to fail when he stretched his noodles. That was certainly a cliffhanger though. |

| I understand being a bit stressed out in that situation, but Mei li can you just stfu and let Mao handle it especially after already delaying him by accident. I expected her by now to have some trust in cooking genius Mao but instead it seems she thinks he's some amateur who needs handholding. |
