| But damn Gugu saved that hoe and got no help no credit and got his face smashed off. Real MVP lol. The funniest part is when Fushi started laughing learning from the Booze Man, and since they both were laughing, the old lady joined. I found it pretty funny. |
| Looks like this will be a good arc. I like Gugu’s character and Fushi’s time with him should help him understand humans more since he has had such a horrible life, yet remains upbeat. I love all of the character that they put into his lizard head, such a great idea. |

| Perhaps I should’ve watched this after Fruits Basket because of how the dullness and shit comedy would actually help balance out the heavy emotions I get from the aforementioned. I thought I was watching some silly rom com skit at one point, plus I found the short Gugu backstory rather silly, tbh. 6 episodes and I’ve been nothing but apathetic despite my continued endeavors to be open-minded about it. In short, still meh, still unimpressive. Somewhat amusing at least for better or worse. |

| Everytime Fushi learns something new it feels like progress was made, im pretty much on board for it as long as that is handled this well, if we eventually get to him being more independent its gonna feel like a real journey was spent getting there. |

| Another touchy yet amazing episode. The studio might not has the highest budget for the visual but they really nail the emotional part on emotional scenes. I really feel bad for this poor boy. He has such good attitude yet meat bunch of rotten people that ruin his life. |

| Aww poor Gugu, what a sad past. I winced when it showed the log smashed on his head. At least he was lucky enough to survive that. When the girl gave him the ring, I thought the brother was somehow gonna steal that too but thankfully not. The brother's such a scum. The second half was more funny and wholesome with Gugu and Fushi forming a close bond. Fushi learning to talk and mimicking others (his old-man-laugh though!) is always cute. Feels bad Gugu, when the girl he saved starts crushing on a guy who can't even take off his clothes lol. Looks like next episode is gonna be sad for Gugu once again. Please don't kill off another poor child, author :( |

| "We're both monsters. Lets stick together!" Affirmative, Gugu. I can see it coming true.... Well, that's Gugu background story, three months before. His dream really come true. But its used another form to releasing it reality. Him become a monster that lived, hiding in the brewery high place like a mansion, under that mask. Well, the backstory itself already pretty tragic. Then his present self also never apart from the word of tragic. His crush instead fell into Fushi, the other monster, rather than sees him as a person, which made him felt into another misery. Its realistic as a mere human, but man, its still hurt, ngl. However, the old man used a pretty good words there to increased the poor monster boy mood. Be a stronger man, Gugu. Then proved to the whole world, you are not just an ugly monster.... Another highlight from me, Fushi freakin afraid with the forest, learning to do the house chores, mocking poor Gugu, and then fuckin creepy laugh? Them laugh together, idk why, make me feels weird xd. Well, how much awesomeness the orb can progress as human? |

| I've forgotten most of Gugu's story. I only remembered the brother after seeing him. He was a big jerk, I think. But, in shounen manga, family members who randomly disappear are usually jerks. I remember Gugu liking a girl, but I had forgotten how young he was when he started liking her. Can you really have crushes before you've reached puberty? I had always imagined Gugu sounding like Alfonse Elric, and prayed that he wouldn't sound like that in the anime. I'm glad he doesn't. The seiyuu is actually doing a good job. But, I kind of wish he sounded like Dororo from the Mappa adaptation of the manga. Since the character was voiced by an actual child, the innocence was much more believable. lol Fushi's laugh at the end! |
| Man I would really like to list the best moments where fushi learns something new.... in this episode it was, how he learned to laugh seeing the old man (also pyoran’s small reaction)...also nice story of gugu.. until now I would definitely like to hand this show “Best anime of the Season” |

| Poor Gugu, gets abandoned by his brother who took all the money, saved Rean and no one cared or even bothered to check on him, plus he got his head and face crushed, and now the same girl he saved and is simping for pays no attention to him in favor of Fushi lol. The kid is really going through it. |

| The only sin in this world is being poor. Poor Gugu had to wait so long to be saved, his brother left him but yet he strives to remain cheerful. The best wingman of the series is here. And the best older brother for Fushi. That laugh at the end was pure hilarious.XD |

| Gugu: sees Fushi transform multiple times and sees that the clothes are part of that transformation. Also Gugu: tries to wash its clothes as if he's just dealing with a dirty guy and not an immortal being. Seriously, what sense does that make? And speaking of things not making sense, Gugu surviving first being hit on the back of the head by a huge log then having said log land on his face after falling over the hill is complete and utter nonsense; the log would be heavy enough that his head would be crushed like a grape rather than just leaving him with facial deformities. It felt like the author came up with the idea of having Gugu wear his helmet before coming up with a justification for it and then came up with the stupidest way possible to justify it; if you wanted to give Gugu facial deformities so he has to wear the helmet, at least come up with a way of doing so that he could plausibly survive, rather than this stupid log bullshit. Besides that detail, Gugu's backstory served its purpose and I feel sorry for his situation that means Rean will never be able to know it was him who saved her from the log. At least he gets to see her regularly via the shop, though. As a character, Gugu is better than March by a long shot but still has his annoying traits. Are all the obvious cannon fodder characters that Fushi meets going to be children? |

This show really changes a lot from episode to episode. I kinda liked that despite the bad things that happened that it stayed lighthearted. Not everything needs to be a cryporn fest. |

| Fushi's family is growing - he's got himself an older brother now! God knows Gugu needs some family right now after his shitty brother left him all alone and it's someone he can relate to, another misfit who doesn't quite belong. Gugu's character was so perfectly portrayed with that one line he said: "Even if it came to that, I'd protect him first". He's a person who forms strong bonds and never betrays them. Even after his brother abandoned him and he was left for dead, Gugu still has such love for other people and still has such a happy and optimistic view of the world. |

| Best boy Gugu has arrived! Really great episode, they're really adapting the manga amazingly. Gugu's backstory is sad, the unluckiest lucky dude around. His parents are gone, his brother went off on his own and then he saved Rean and got his head smashed in the process. Luckily Booze gramps found him and managed to save him from dying, but at what cost? Well, at least he's living comfortably with Booze gramps and now he's got a younger brother to take care of. It's time for Fushi to learn what NTR means lmao, cause Gugu got cucked. Fushi imitating Booze gramps was hilarious and then Pioran joining in was the cherry on top. Really looking forward to the next episode. |

| How did he end lying on a bank with a log on his face after falling into water... And why do people always run directly in front of something going downhill instead of a little to the side... Regardless, I guess it will turn out into victim of the arc kind of show. A little bit of backstory, some crappy humour, tragic or comically tragic death, new persona skin to the collection, move to the next location, repeat. |
