| I'm surprised there aren't many empty calls for more FMP/Haruhi/whatever to be continued in this thread so far. There also aren't as many anti-moe folks here; MAL never ceases to surprise me. Anyhow, though I stand by the opinion that Tamako Market wasn't as good as any of KyoAni's other shows, it still wasn't bad in my opinion. Just mindless fun and I'm definitely excited to be seeing more. I wonder if they'll be making any changes to it; "fixing what was wrong" with the original, so to speak. Man, all of these good upcoming anime are just blowing me away! |

I mean, they've announced a sequel to 2 shows that just finished airing less than a year ago, so I think the odds of them doing the same for a show that finished 7+ and 3+ years ago is a bit on the low end. | I'm actually pretty excited for this. I thought the show was a very pleasant watch, and really can't imagine why people didn't like it. Yea, it didn't really go anywhere, but... what were you expecting with a moe-based slice of life? A movie would be great. Focusing on the romance between Mochizou and Tamako. That would be glorious! |

| On one hand, I'm wondering why KyoAni is bothering to make a sequel to such a thoroughly mediocre (yet for some reason I found it amusing) anime that also sold poorly. On the other hand, a sequel means they could improve on the first season. I hope they flesh out the characters and develop that hinted romance some more. |

| I don't mind Kyoani doing more slice of life series. Chuunibyou imo was decent. It sold alot in bd sales with 10k+, and was popular, but from a business standpoint why would they decide to make a sequel for Tamako Market? I remember it sold higher then Nichijou but barely passed the manabi line if I recall. Seems like a bad investment too me.... I don't mind it since they can improve it from the first season just a little confused... |
| Tamako Market was not bad, but I think KyoAni should make something much better. Just a suggestion, maybe make the 3rd season of Haruhi Suzumiya series that many people have been waiting for. |

| What the fuck. I don't see any reason to continue Tamako Market. There's barely any plot to begin with. I hope it is not a sequel. An OVA is ok. Making a sequel of it is a waste of their time and they should probably use that time to make a better anime. Oh well, I think I'll still watch it because of Anko @_@ |
