| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- A shame they didn't do more with the lady warrior like the previous episode promised. She could have been a cool, sympathetic long-running adversary had heir captors not used their trump card right away. And is it just me, or are battles not involving Ken more interesting? They just die too fast when he throws down. :P |

| The little girl with her grandfather in this episode bears a very strong resemble to Minky Momo from the show of the same name which aired around a year before Fist of the North Star did. An animator's joke? Abut five years later in Sailor Moon, Tuxedo Mask's usual shtick is very reminiscent of Bella's entrance upon Ken and company. Aside from somewhat interesting connections to other shows before and after, I think this one was kind of a bore. A not very interesting one-shot story that only inches the main story forward. |

| I thought it was very weird that Bella was simply killed of, but in the hokuto wikia it mentions this episode being a filler, so there's that. Good episode either way. |

| This series sure as hell doesn't love its strong female warriors, first Jennifer who died by canon fire, now bella who dies in a fight, and I think we got a prediction last episode that Mamiya probably won't make it, I hope she at least beats that prediction and survives |

| Even if Belle somehow manage to kill Ken I highly doubt that she going to get what promised to her. More likely the villains would have killed her and her mother anyway since she out lived her usefulness. |

| One of the rare episodes that just feels a bit "meh". Even though it introduced 2 new fighting styles and had some Rei & Ken duo action, it feels like little progress was actually made. The ending does make me want to see more. Toki's smiling. Is this a rescue mission now? He looked pretty okay for a dude that was irradiated and probably stuck in prison for quite some time. |
