| Wow, this sites just a joke at this point. And I thought ANN's system was bad. Not only does the site allow a Light Novel to achieve a top 10 place on it's manga list, but it also allows a series that hasn't even finished yet to achieve a #62 ranking. |

| It is also only bugged for this show it seems. If you go and try to rate another show on your 'Plan to Watch' list it won't actually enter the score into the database, refresh the page and you will see. So I'm not sure how the rating was set to allowable for this show but it is. It's not that big of a deal though honestly, when the show begins to air it will drop quickly. |

Similar circumstances with AniDB. It's an inherent problem with the coding itself, btu I have yet to see another site that unlocks it's voting mechanism before the episode has aired. Frankly they should all only unlock after the series is finished. If not by automation I'm sure a moderator could handle searching each currently airing series, locking the vote and then unlocking it after it's done. If that' a sign of an "E-Peen" then fine, I just call it practically and fairness to less popular and hyped shows. |
| I recall reading somewhere here that the votes don't "count" until you have seen 1/4 of a show, what exactly happened to that in the case of Code Geass R2? |
| Someone broke MAL and it's now linked to the future? There are couple other shows which been rated before airing too. =/ I'ma try make my future self leave me a note in the past for my present self. |

I don't know whether to be insulted about the fact that you've ridiculed my age, or just sad that someone in this world with the same age as me is actually that stupid.... Give me a month, then I'll lose all association with them, ne? I'd have to say that rating should be disabled until you get halfway through the series at least, don't you think? Thats when you should have a solid basic opinion on the anime, then you could change it as you finish the series. It'd be fun to have an anticipation rating when you chose 'plan to watch' though.... |

| I predict that by next week R2 will be so highly rated that the MAL front page will automatically redirect to the series page. If someone spreads a rumor that CC shows some skin, the rating will need to be expressed in scientific notation. If the loli gets involved, Non-Euclidean geometry will be invoked. |

| Eh, I see the premature rating as a weekly report at how you feel the anime is going. If the first few eps are general crap, then why should I waste my time watching them? Furthermore, how do I know it's crap yet if there aren't weekly grades? But far as this show goes (and more than likely others as well), I felt like this ep was a recap on more levels than just the beginning few minutes or so. It was a recap into what Code Geass works with in terms of the atmosphere, characters, and series setup. So, you can't really rate this anime based on the first ep. BTW, if you find a series to be worth a 1 or 3, would you go through to the end hoping it gets better or drop it on the spot and give it such a score? Cause you could interpret that kinda of scoring the same way as scoring as you go. |

I don't see why i shouldn't rate some show with 1 s only despite the fact many people like it. I mean what gives them the right to say they are right and i am not. It would really suck to be realistic, as in : to live in the reality others want you to live in. |

| I haven't watched CG, but I'll say the same thing I said in the Wagaya discussion. The anime score isn't supposed to be given with just one episode. It's supposed to be an OVERALL score. You're giving it an EPISODIC score. If you liked the episode so much, great, vote 5/5 in the episode 1 discussion topic, that's what the poll is made for. But there is absolutely no reason to throw a 10/10 as a score after FOUR PERCENT of the series has aired. What the hell of a sample is that? The score may be high, but it's actually completely meaningless. I don't see the point in what's being done. |
