| Animation dropped quite a bit in this episode. Next episode seems to make up for it though. Why is Kouga so weak still? Lol he needs to get step up his game a little bit. Eden...awesome. Liked him, looking forward to knowing more about him. I get the feelmg Ryuuho will battle Haruto in this tournament. |

 Some of the characters are of random things dealing with the heavens, Hook of the Compass? Really? Eden of Orion was interesting but they give him such a terrible personality. Yuna still feels like a pointless addition on the main crew, cheerleader? Otherwise episode was good, two of the music pieces were nice, one played during the introduction to the Saint Fight and then the one that plays when a character does something epic, like an instrumental of the theme. |

He is some fake Ikki. lol I'm trying real hard to like Kouga but i cant compared to Seiya and even Tenma. He is just a shit character. Tenma and Seiya wasnt this weak at the beginning. Hell Tenma and Seiya was more leader like at the beginning. Another big problem i have is he is getting trained by a pretty good old Saint Shaina Ophiuchus and still this damn weak. I'm guessing this tournament is very similar to the cloth tournament in Saint Seiya. I still dont like nothing about Ryuuho. I know Saint Seiya always been about nakama power ups but Kouga got to do something soon if not i might just drop it soon. Even Lost Canvas was a lot better than this in the 1st couple episodes. I hate when they try to do stuff for new audience and forget the core of the series and ruin it. end rant. This episode gets a 2/5. I admit so far only Eden and Yuna the only likeable character except for the OGs. lol |

| I'm running out of patience with all the training arcs and I'm reminded of Ao Exorcist which lost its appeal for me once it moved on to a school setting. Maybe I will return to this series once Kouga has finished training. |

Well the fight could've been better. But the tournament itself is promising. That Eden guy looks overpowered. |

| What a spineless boy is this?! He went on a journey to save Athena, now he is playing fighting game with other kids. How come he is delaying such an important mission? I watched this episode quite bored up. If the next one comes out to be at the same pace, I am going to drop this one. This just lacks the soul of the original series. Their fighting costumes are like plastic. And they are some reservoir dogs trying to make epic fighting scenes for us; but failing miserably. 2/5 |

I've been thinking this for the last 2 episodes. He knew since he was born now she disappeared and he acts as if nothing happened? Seriously, he could pretty much be her son and he wastes time for playing around? Can't he really convince someone to let him near her? This episode was pretty bad. We had nothing but battle shounen cliche (and a tournament thing that seems to have been done in this franchise before and not once). Why couldn't Koga see Soma's battle? His explanation made no sense. Koga now completely turned into a stereotype battle shounen lead and the rest have an obvious archetype as well. The best friend that seems to be able to read lead's mind after a week of knowing him and the one the lead constantly wants to fight, the powerful yet weak guy everyone ignores (tbh I'd much rather fight him than Soma, he is much stronger) and is there only for more fans (if nothing else than thanks to his father) and the useless female that is supposed to be interesting for no specified reason. Going by those archetypes, my money is on Yuna being the first one of the group to lose. Ryuuho will get beaten (most likely VERY badly) by Eden or simply will be in too bad condition to continue fighting after a random fight, Soma loses to Kouga or Eden (free friendship speech included in both), Yuna gets beaten by either Eden or Ryuho or someone of equal strength not to make us think she's COMPLETELY useless. And Kouga frustrated by Ryuuho's/Soma's condition or something of that kind will beat the shit out of Eden (free friendship speech included). Then something happens and he won't get his silver rank (it's way too early for him anyway) and a new "Let's save Athena" themed arc starts. Can I get my money for script now? If at least half of these stuff happen I'm so dropping this. |
