| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Looks like Kotoko's three months in, folks Boy, a lot of stuff happened this episode. First there is that A-plot where Kotoko, provoked by her friends, gets worried that Naoki will leave her barefoot and pregnant with no makeup on in order to get a younger supposedly unruined girl [prime suspect: new nurse trainee Naoki calls Yukie-chan (!?)]. B-plot is where Kin-chan gets his own restaurant and announces his wedding date. But first he has to get past the parents. C-plot is where Yuko finally faces her unsolicited protector/tormentor Sudo-senpai while she's being hospitalized for testing related to an anemia. Well, let's just say the continuation from where the manga left off didn't leave us with any surprises. Welp, maybe the next episode, "Happy Love Carnival" will give us a baby with some kind of birth defect ( or twins, or just another cliffhanger). |

| I liked this episode. It did bug me that Chris's mother spoke to Chris in Japanese... but still twas funny. I wish I could read more kanji so I could see what the name suggestions were there. The next episode looks soooo cool :) |

I was thinking something similar to that would happen as well, considering Kotoko's mother died young too. I'm sure if it does happen Naoki will jump in and take control since he's a doctor and the father, saving Kotoko and everyone living happily ever after. Either that or the baby will have something that needs to be dealt with surgically. I'm really interested in seeing what the baby will look like. It would be funny if a little Kotoko or Naoki came out XD. |

Now THAT would be a twist I'd fully support XD *sigh* We all know that these kind of fluffy shoujo anime are full of cliches, but they are really overdoing it. When Kotoko announcd that she was pregnant, the first thought that came inot my mind was "I wonder what the medical emergency with the baby will be" and the end of the episode on confirms that there will be one. Well...2 eps left, let's wait and see. Edit: Oh, but did we see Irie actually stick his tongue out, when he was talking to Kotoko at the stairs? Are they giving him a sense of humor for the last 3 eps? Just watched the preview for ep 24. So we really do have a medical emergency and Irie has to save the day...ah well. He is unexperienced and the husband, but of course he would be the one to operate.... |

| Nice episode, but really, Kotoko should use her brains once in a while. Chris' mother is funny, but I expected her to speak Engrish to her, not Japanese... Oh well. Sudou finally gets Matsumoto, would be time. The unforseen trial : the birth of the child(ren) and ofcourse the trial of raising it/them. |

| Urgh, I really hope it's not a miscarriage or something serious, this anime has been lighthearted so far and it would be disappointing to have a sad ending. I want Kotoko, Irie-kun and little Irie to live happily ever after. Also, lol at Chris's mother's accent. |

| Remember the picture they showed during that "Trial" statement? Remember the girl kinda staring at Naoki on the side? I don't think we have seen the last of her :) I even think thats her in the preview, on the bed (I think it was) the hair was too short to be Kotoko..... For the first time in this series Im actually looking forward to an episode :) |

I don't think he would rush off to find a new sugar momma just because Kotoko is preggos. Also Irie's personality is changing and becoming more happy and humorous because Kotoko is having his kid not because hes cheating. If he was cheating I think he would be more serious like he has been when dealing with Kotoko in the past. As we all know, hes not the type to let his feelings show when he's in love but having a kid is a bit different. Just my 4 cents |

| Honestly, I don't think Naoki will be allowed to jump in and do the surgery if something is wrong with Kotoko and the baby. Maybe it would be a trial of him worrying but then everything works out in the final episode. ^.^ Eh, we'll see what happens next time. |

| She's really pregnant! Amazing they even added this concept in the story and how lovely they did it :) funny that both the mother and kotoko thought Irie was cheating :p Chirs's mother and they finally making wedding plans sure was nice as well! You got got to love that Engrish, that with Matsumoto-san finally accepting him was great as well! Everything sure is getting good, lets see what's next! |
